Olivia's POV:

BEEP! BEEP!

Ughh... School.

Even worse...

The FIRST day of school.

I groaned as I pounded the 'OFF' button on the top of my alarm clock.

I layed in my bed for about 5 more minutes, trying to wake up.

As much as I tried, I just couldn't fully wake up.

I layed, consumed by my thoughts.

I looked back at my clock.

It read 6:40.

Shit. I thought.

I must have drifted back to sleep when I was 'thinking.'

I ran over to my closet.

I grabbed a pair of shorts that had a pink and yellow ombre pattern and black palm trees on them, a black shirt, and some black sandals.

We had a dress-code at our school, but I never really followed it, and plus, no one really ever did.

After I went to the bathroom to change into my outfit, I threw my hair up into a pony tail, not caring what it looked like.

Since I was 17, I had my own car. That was better, since when my mom used to take me to school, I was ALWAYS late, not that I wasn't now.

I grabbed my Vera Bradley bag that only had 3 binders, and new school supplies.

Before I knew it, it was 7:15.

On the first day of school, everyone had to be early.

For the past 11 years, school was never that great for me. I was sometimes honor roll, but mostly honorable mention.

This year, hopefully things would be different.

It is my senior year, anyways.

But sometimes, hoping doesn't have any affect on what will happen.
