Ashton's POV:

Olivia ran out of the assembly. Some of the teachers went out after her, making sure she didn't run off the school campus.

I got up after 20 seconds after she ran out, but the English teacher, Mr. Fitz, stopped me.

"Go sit down, Mr. Irwin." he said sternly.

"But, Olivia just ran out!" I protested.

"Other teachers are solving the issue."

"But they won't find her."

"Do you know where she is then?"

"No... But"

"You may go sit down now, Mr. Irwin."

"But I don't want to, I want to look for Olivia."

"Ashton, she has not gone missing, she just merely ran out, probably into the bathroom or a classroom."

"Sit. Down."

"Okay, fine."

"And that's got you an hour of after school detention." he said sternly.

I mentally groaned and waited the remaining 10 minutes of the assembly.

After I heard the principal say "you are now dismissed and may return to your current class period," I bolted out of the gym.

"Where would she be... where would she be" I muttered to myself over and over again.

I called her but there was no reply.

After about 20 minutes of non-stop calling Olivia, her contact appeared on my screen, signaling she was calling me.

But before I could answer, I bumped into the worst possible thing yet.

The principal was looking down at me with furious eyes.

"What on Earth do you think you're doing?" He yelled at me.

"Looking for Olivia." I said innocently.

"We've got officials looking for her." she said.

"Have they found her?"

"No. But we will. And when we do, she will be in serious trouble for interrupting a very formal school assembly."

"In trouble?! She was hurt because of her emotions and she couldn't take it! She ran out because she was Olivia's best friend!"

"Aren't you supposed to be in detention?" She said coldly.

"Mr. DiLaurentis, please let me help."

"There is no room for you to help."

"But- I need to find Olivia!"

"We will."

"Not if you won't let me help!" I said.

That made him calm down.

"So are you saying that you know where Olivia is?" He said calmly.

"No- no not at all, I just thought that I could help find her."

"Come to my office, Ashton."

"Why?"

"I think you know where Olivia is."

'Oh no... I internally groaned. What have I got myself into?'
