Chapter Twenty Six

-Draco's POV-

"Father?" I said approaching the man I almost feared the most. "Let me marry her, please." I said. "It will ruin the line Draco, you know this." My father said. "Father, If you make me marry anyone that isn't Rebekah, I promise you the line will end. At least If I marry her when were older enough the Malfoy line will still live on. I refuse to children with anyone whos not Rebekah, so fath eri ask once more. Let me marry her." I said looking my father in the eyes, which is something i rarely do. I father spun around. "Do not threaten me Draco." my father snapped at me. I didnt move. "I'm not i'm simply saying I wont have children, i will be the last of the Malfoy line if you don't let me marry her." I said standing my ground. My father wa silent. "You do realize if we had kids they'd we pure blooded, right." I said. "Fine." Father said as he looked at my mother. "Really?" I said. "Yes Draco, now quit talking about it." My father said facing the window. "Mother where were you?" I asked walking over to hug her. "Talking with Rebekah." My mother smiled.

-Rebekah's POV-

"The cookies are delicious." Narcissa said. "Thank you, Draco helped a bit as well." i said cleaning up the mess. "I see the way you act with Draco on his more childish moments, you'd make an amazing mother. Have you thought of having kids?" Narcissa asked. "I've never really thought about it much, I guess i've always envisioned my future with kids, so yeah I guess." I smiled. Narcissa smiled back and walked away. 
"Lucius, you don't have to worry about Draco's silly threats about ending the family line, Rebekah wants children." Narcissa said talking with her husband in the other room. 

I woke on christmas morning to draco kissing me. "What are you doing?" I asked kissing his lips. "Come on." Draco dragged me out of bed. I could tell he was excited. I walked down stairs in my pajamas. "Mum!?" I ran towards my mother and brother who were waiting in the living room by the tree with the Malfoys. "Surprise." Draco said. I hugged draco and then my brother. "I most definitely wasn't expecting this as a gift." I said sitting against the couch. After we all opened gifts narcissa made us gather to take a picture. What I didn't know was that instead and picture she was taking a video. I stood next to draco a smiled. "One more quick gift." Draco said as he pulled out a small box. "Draco, I said no more surprises." I said looking up the the ceiling. When I looked back down Draco had gotten on his knee and grabbed my hand. "What are you doing?" I asked nervous. "Rebekah Mae Lindsford." Draco said, my heart dropped and my mother gasped pulling ivan away and closer to her. Narcissa smiled as Lucius join her by the camera. "Marry me?" Draco asked opening the box to reveal the most beautiful ring I've eve seen. I jaw dropped and I began to cry tears of joy. I was shaking my head but words wouldn't come out. "Yes!" I finally shouted getting the word to form. Draco slipped the ring on my finger and picked me up in hug and sun around smiling. "Your father?" I whispered. "Is fine." Draco said setting me down. "That was a picture was it?" I said turning red. "Nope." Draco laughed. I looked at Lucius who was actually smiling. My mother hugged me. "You still have to wait another year." My mother laughed wiping away tears. Ivan gave Draco the dirtiest look and then smiled. Later that day I called Hermoine. "Hey i have some news to tell you when we get back to Hogwarts, so wait for me okay?" I said. "We will." Hermione said. 

"Ready?" Draco said as we walked down stairs for dinner. " I smiled as we took our seats. Dinner was one of the talkive ones. Lots of talk mostly about the wedding. We still had a little over a year though. After dinner I said goodbye to my family, Draco and I went back up to his room. "Oh Bekah, you better soak u being  a Lindsford for the next the year, you'll be a Malfoy soon." Draco smirked and I blushed. "How did you do? Convince our father to let you marry me." I asked. "Threaten to end the family line, so i guess saying I wont have children." Draco said. "So we have to have kids?" I asked. "No, only if you want too." Draco said sitting up in bed. "I do, I do, eventually." I said resting my head on his shoulder. "Have you told anyone yet?" Draco asked. "I'm going to tell the trio when we go back to Hogwarts." I said messing with the ring on my finger. "Rebekah Malfoy." Draco says with a smile. "Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" he added. I rolled my eyes back. "Sure." I said closing my eyes. I fell asleep early that night, I remember waking up around 10 pm and seeing Draco reading a book. I closed my eyes again and moved a little closer to him. He put his book down and pulled me to him holding me in a hug. We both fell into a deep sleep afterwards.
