Marriage Under Pressure

The Human Heart (part 4)

Now that the Scriptures reveal to you the true enemy ("You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God."--James 4:4), would you still continue to treat me as your enemy? Would you still despise me for drawing you closer to God by sharing to you His Words? Would you still hate me for doing what Jesus Christ instructed me to do for this family and for you? Would you choose to be God's enemy for continually doing your adulterous ways (Proverbs 28:4)? Do you think God will accepts your good deeds and prayers if He still considers you as His enemy (Luke 13:27)? Why not sincerely repent and call upon the Lord to heal your heart? ("For this people's heart has grown dull, and with their ears they can barely hear, and their eyes they have closed; lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears and understand with their heart and turn, and I would heal them."--Acts 28:27 / "For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."--Hebrews 4:12)

This is the reason why you couldn't care enough for the future of your child when you destroy your child's family (Proverbs 14:1). This is the reason why you couldn't care about the feelings of your parents when you defiled your own family. This is the reason why you couldn't care enough about your husband's feeling and ignores his reconciliation. This is the reason why you neglect the fact that this is just God's trial and never accept His will for us. Because you don't have a kind of love that will prevent and stop you for doing this to your own child, parents, husband and God. A love that can only be produced by a pure heart and not by a clouded and hardened one. ("The goal of this command is love, which comes from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith."--1 Timothy 1:5). If you feel uncomfortable with these statements, or if you are against it or ignores it, surely then it is the indication that your heart and mind are indeed trap. Better meditate and reflect on your own actions, because death is waiting for anyone who wanders away from good sense (Proverbs 21:16).

Back to the main argument:

Are you sober-minded enough for you to say to yourself that your thoughts and heart are not clouded by evil (Ephesians 4:18 / Proverbs 6:32)? Are you really on the clear and right state of mind to be aware of the sinful things that you are doing now ("In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."--2 Corinthians 4:4)? Jesus Christ said at John 8:34, "Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.", so are you still a slave of your sin? Are you still allowing such sin to control your heart and dictates to you that it is okay for you to continue sinning?

So now, would you believe the Scripture says that your heart is fully clouded by this sin and that you no longer want to accept the Truth? This is also the reason why you feel uncomfortable taking the Words of God and much feel better staying under the influence of the Devil, isn't that what you feel? That you would not care what your parents, your friends, your husband, and your child would say, as long as you feel the satisfaction that the Devil provided you, isn't that right? Because the longer you practice such sin, the more you get stubborn and the more you build a callus around your heart and gradually lose your conscience. But now the Lord is making you realize all of this darkness within your heart, so would you humbly accept God's words and repent ("You will never succeed in life if you try to hide your sins. Confess them and give them up; then God will show mercy to you"--Proverbs 28:13)? Would you now return to God's love and patiently wait for the promise He would give you ("Blessed is the one who fears the Lord always, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into calamity."--Proverbs 28:14)? Would you resist the Devil and the earthly pleasure it gives you? If you can say to that adulterous guy "this time magiging mature na ako para sa iyo." Can you not say the same thing to our Lord? If you can say to that guy "magbabago na ako para sa iyo." Why can you not say the same thing to our Lord? If you can offer your body and life to the Devil, why can you not offer it to the Lord? Yet it is the Lord your God who created you, the one and only true God that gives you breath and life. Will your heart accepts and loves the Lord and no longer rejects Him? Will your heart voluntarily accepts His commandments and Words, to receive Metanoia? ("I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you."--Psalm 119:11)
