But if God, who always watches and guides you, asks you this question: "Can you still believe you can survive this trial (the marital relationship with your husband)?" What will be your answer to God? Will you choose to survive with God by your side? Is this not possible to God (Matthew 19:26)? Why would you not struggle for God sake, and not for your own desire's sake?
Have faith! But where should you use such strong faith; to a marital relationship that is being challenge or to an ungodly affair that which is only ephemeral ("The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever."-- 1 John 2:17)? God's side or His adversary's side? ("Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you."--James 4:7)
This is what the LORD says-- your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea." (Isaiah 48:17-18)
