Waking up with a renewed vigor, I smiled to myself thinking about what happened these last few days. I know it was fast, but I truly hope and pray that everything will be fine now.
I went out of my room to fetch her so we can go. I wanted to make it early going to Udo, so we can have at least a lot of time to spend freely, before we go back to Seoul tomorrow. Once we are there, we'll get so busy doing our jobs, only this time, there will be something to look forward to.
I look forward to sending her home every night.
She got out the room and wore her best smile. She was clad in a white shirt, blue denim shorts and white sneakers. She looked so simple, but she was so beautiful still. I took her hand and led the way for us. We stopped by the hotel resto to pick up my pre-ordered sandwiches and coffee.
'Yej, we won't be taking the car today,' I informed her. Apparently, Udo Island ferries don't take in cars. We needed to rent our own transpo or take the bus. I chose to rent so it'd be easier for us to navigate around the island.
The earliest trip from Seongsan Port to Udo is 7:30am so we were able to catch it. From afar, we were in awe at how wonderful it looked like. Some people said it got its name because it resembled a cow lying down. Others say that it looked like a cow's head. But for me, wherever it got its name from doesn't matter. I was captivated by the beauty of the island.
We got off Udo Port and went to rent a cute looking electric scooter. It looked funny but since we wanted to try it together, we went for it. She was asking me if she could drive, with her puppy eyes, to which I can never say no to. I made her do so and we got to our first stop, Sanho Beach, with its white sand on feast in front of us.
Yejin loves the water, as I remembered from before, so a beach is a must when I travel with her. I simply love the color changing hues of the water, from turquoise blue to deeper blue, depending on how far you go. I took the chance to take a photo of her again, since she was the one who was so eager, and she did choose to wear the proper attire. I was wearing jeans, so I never really got the chance to dip the waters with her.
She looked so stunning I can't help but gush over her again and again. I feel like the midfielder who saw the most beautiful girl in school again. How can she be this beautiful, effortlessly? Playing with the water, I was reminded of the younger Yejin: carefree, lovely, and always happy. She didn't care actually about the bullies in school. She had so many friends who love her, so they never really had a place in Yejin's heart then.
'Hey! Aren't you coming over?' she was teasing me.
'I'll stay here! Or better yet, come up here now so we can go somewhere else more beautiful,' I said. She came up a few moments after.
'Where are we going?' she asked.
'I wanna see the two caves, it says here that we have to go to Geommeollae Beach so we can take a boat going there. I heard we can take nice photos in there too,' I said. She smiled.
I guess she really love to have photos of her taken. She indeed is my muse, after all.
'Okay! Let's go,' she said, then halted after a second. 'But, Bin. My feet are wet.'
I looked at her then shifted my gaze to her feet. I forgot she was in the water earlier. I took her sneakers, tied it in my bag, then I wore my bag in front. I crouched down in front of her.
'Get on behind me,' I said.
'What?' she asked.
'Get on. I gotta carry you. The ground is hot and I don't want you scalding your soles, lest you have a hard time walking around. Come on,' I said, still crouching down.
