A Normal Friend Group

Soon it was history, and Isaac was dressed like a vampire once more. He didn't look as fancy, but he was still definitely a vampire. They learned about Vlad the Impaler and how he became the the original inspiration for Dracula, plus a bit about Porphyria and Rabies. By the end of the block, they were learning about Elizabeth Bathory and her gruesome bloody ways. "Countess Elizabeth bathed in the blood of young people to retain her youth and enjoyed torturing her victims. We'll continue learning about her and go into more details about diseases tomorrow," Isaac said. "Okay Mr. Zack! This is fun!" Lily said. Lex giggled at her crush's behavior. Ray and Danny smiled, feeling content upon seeing the two girls happy. The group got up and went to World Language. "So, what are you guys learning?" Ray asked. "Danny's learning Portuguese and I'm learning Arabic. We teach each other what we've learned so far," Lex said. "Cool. I'm fluent in Russian and I'm learning Japanese. Lily's learning Greek. I taught her some Russian and we're teaching each other what we've learned. Wanna have a language study session at my house later?" Ray asked.

"Wait, seriously? That would be so awesome!" Danny said. Lex smiled and nodded. They all sat down and studied their languages, working on pronunciations. They got pretty far and then left for Mech. "Did the components come in yet Ivy?" Ray asked. Ivy shook her head, not looking up from her magazine. A few machine part catalogs with stuff circled were on her desk. Ivy didn't go by Miss Dahlia because she was only 5 years older than her students and she acted more like a teenager than an adult. "So, just work quietly and watch YouTube?" Lily asked. Ivy nodded and put her magazine down to start a playlist of YouTube animations on her computer. The group sat down. Lex and Danny asked Ray and Lily about what to do, and the four ended up making armor together. Class ended. "So, where do you guys wanna go?" Ray asked. "How about Psych lessons and then you guys work on your game? Show us the theme of the game and the intro, and we'll be able to start on the intro music and the main playthrough music on some software," Lex suggested. "That sounds great! Lex you're a genius!" Lily yelled, jumping on Lex to encase her in a bone crushing hug.

The group went to their activities and then picked up the twins. "Hey, are you two ready for another night at home? I'll be with the others at Ray's house, so call if something's wrong. I'll be back in the morning, so have some leftovers or make something easy for dinner," Lily said as the group walked home. The twins nodded and waved as their sisters walked away with their friends. Ray let them into her house and showed them her study space, which was the office in her house. "I'll go grab some stuff. Any preferred drinks?" Ray asked. "If you have it, I'll have raspberry lemonade," Danny said. "And I'll have a ginger ale if you have it," Lex said. "Okay, I have both of those. Any snack preferences?" Ray asked. "The usual," Lily said. "Alright," Ray said, walking away. She returned with a pitcher of lemonade, a liter bottle of ginger ale, a liter bottle of cherry vanilla soda, and a pitcher of fruit punch. Ray got out four tall mason jars and poured the drinks before putting on the lid and sticking a straw in each one. "Here you guys go. The snacks should be ready," Ray said. She walked back to the kitchen and returned again, this time with a platter of snacks and a bowl with a lid that was labeled LILY. 

"That's a lot of snacks," Lex said. "Well, this had become the usual. I also have some almonds. You've got fruit slices, popcorn, chips, some candy, and muffins. Most of this was Lily's idea. She usually eats this at sleepovers and I added healthy stuff for study snacks. This usually gets her brain running though, so we just have these for study sessions," Ray said. She put everything out in front of the group and they started studying and teaching each other what they were learning and had learned. Ray had to stop Lily from talking with her mouth full and getting stuff on the paper, which was a typical occurrence in study sessions. The group was finished a few brain farts, drink refills, breaks, and broken school supplies later. "It's kind of late. Why don't you guys call your guardians and ask if you can sleep over?" Ray suggested. "We don't have any clothes or pajamas here," Danny said. "Lex can borrow some of mine and my dad has some stuff you could wear. Lily already keeps some clothes here, so maybe you guys should if you wanna do this more often," Ray said. Lex and Danny looked at each other and nodded. "Alright. We'll borrow some clothes today and change into new uniforms at our houses tomorrow morning," Lex said.
