Chapter 1, The letters

Edward POV

Me, Al and Winry wanted to take a trip to the country side, away from Central and take a break. After the Promising Day me and Al have been working to help each other out, with my arm and his body. I know that I can't do Alchemy again but I feel it in my bones that I still have a spark.

As we are about to get into the train with our things we see Hawkeye walking over to us with a 3 letters. I put down my bags and walked out to her with my hands in my pockets. "Hey Hawkeye, what are you doing here? I thought you were helping the Coronial recover?" I said as I gave her a handshake. "Don't worry, I am," she said with a light chuckle.

"He's doing well. He did want to come over and say goodbye but I told him to stay with Brenda for now. I have these letters for you 3. Though, I don't know who it's from because there was no return address so be careful and have a good trip." She said and handed me the letter before walking away. Al and Winry were talking the whole time so they didn't get to see Hawkeye.

"Hey brother, what are those?" Al said to me as he and Winry leaned over my shoulder to see the letter. I shrugged my shoulders and said "I don't know but let's get onto the train before it leaves!!" I said while picking my stuff up and running towards the train. "Hey no fair!!" Winry yelled as she ran after me. "Guys wait up! I can't run fast yet!!" Al said as he was struggling to carry his stuff and run at the same time. I laughed and ran back to help him.

Once we got to our seats and put our things away I pulled out the 3 letters. I handed the other 2 letters to Al and Winry. We all opened them at the same time and read aloud. "Dear Mr Edward Elric/Mr Alphonse Elric/ Miss Winry Rockbell,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Students shall be required to report to the Chamber of Reception upon arrival, the dates for which shall be duly advised. Please Ensure that the utmost attention be made to the list of requirements attached herewith. We very much look forward to receiving you as part of the new generation of Hogwarts heritage.
Yours sincerely, M. McGonagall."

We all looked at our letters until I broke the silence. "WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SHIT?!?!" I yelled as everyone on the train stopped and looked at me while some covered their children's ears. Winry looked at me with wide eyes as Al apologized for my behavior. I looked on the other piece of paper in the letter that contained what we would need, what year we were in, our train ticket to 'Hogwarts', and who would meet us when we got off the train. Once we looked over everything we started to talk amongst ourselves.

Winry was the first to speak. "What is 'Hogwarts'? Do we even know where this is?" She asked us. Me and Al looked at each other and shrugged. "I don't know what this is Winry sorry..." Al said disappointed. "Hey don't worry Al we'll figure it out, plus we're meeting someone named... 'Albus Dumbledore' and 'Rubus Hagrid'.... WHO THE HELL ARE THEY?!?!" I yelled again as Al and Winry face-palmed while everyone looked at us again. "Sorry..." I whispered as we all sat in silence wondering what was about to happen to us when we got off the train...
