Chapter 3, Gringotts

Al POV

As we were walking down Diagon Alley, Winry and brother were still bickering. I looked into the store windows and saw a boy, probably Ed and Winry's age, looking straight at us. I smiled and waved but he just scoffed and walked away, to what looked like to be his father. I frowned at that and ran to Ed and Winry, who calling me at the gates of Gringotts with Hagrid. Once we started to walk in, me and Ed immediately tensed. We saw human-animal hybrids, Chimeras.

I looked over to my brother and asked him a question. "Are those what I think they are brother...?" "I don't know Al but, let's not assume for right now. We can ask later-" Winry cut Ed off. "Hey what are you guys talking about?" She said while walking backwards. "Oh it's nothing Winry, Oh look we're here!" Brother said changing the topic and running forward.

Winry looked at me and I shrugged before running after Ed. "Guys, no fair!!" She yelled after us. We all ran into Hagrid by accident. "Oh, sorry Mr, Hagrid!" Winry said running the back of her neck. "It's alright Winry." He said to her before turned to one of the 'Chimeras' and talking. "We wan' to get 'nto Van Hohenhime's valut, Griphook."

I could feel brother tense and start to grow a tick mark on his head. I leaned over and gave him a hug which calmed him down a little, but he was still pretty mad. "I'm going to need the key and proof of family members of Mr. Hohenhime." 'Griphook' said to Hagrid, leaning over his desk to look at us. Hagrid pushed me and brother forward towards Griphook as he looked in his coat for a key.

"Rise your right hand." Griphook said to me and brother so we did so. He took a little blade and cut our pointer fingers for blood. I felt Ed whence but i whence more because I was still sensitive. He let a drop of blood fall onto a piece of paper and took the paper. "They are the sons of Hohenhime, the last people of Xerxes. Edward and Alphonse Hohenhime-"

"We are not Hohenhime's, we are Elric's. Edward and Alphonse Elric, not Hohenhime." Ed said with a sickening voice to Griphook. Griphook didn't care and started to talk again. "Would Mr. Edward and Alphonse 'Elric', like to change the Hohenhime vault name to Elric?"

Me and Ed looked at each other and shook our heads, we want to keep a least one thing for our dads name. He took the key from Hagrid and jumped off his desk and started to walk towards a gate. He opened the gate and there was a old cart on rail tracks. "Um.. Mr. Hagrid? What is this?" Winry asked him as he started to walk towards the cart with Griphook.

He turned around to see our confused faces. "Oh. Sorry, fergot to tell yer guys. Jump in, t's safe. Fer the most part..." he said the last part to himself though. We all looked to each other before we climbed in. Griphook pushed a lever forward and the cart sped off. I was kinda scared but laughing a little, Winry was screaming, Ed was laughing super hard, Hagrid looked like he wanted to puke, and Griphook looked bored.

When we got to the stop I wobbled out fo the cart, Winry threw up a little, Hagrid threw up, Ed jumped out and put his hands on his hips and sighed "Now that, was fun!" He said. Griphook walked up to a door with a lantern. "Hold" he said and handed the lantern to Hagrid, unlocked the door and let magic do the rest then took back the lantern. As the door was opening me. Ed and Winry looked in awe at the amount of gold coins there were.

"Hold up-" Ed said suddenly. We all looked at him, except Griphook. "Our father, THAT PEICE OF CRAP, HAD ALL OF THIS MONEY?!?!" Hagrid started to laugh. "Hahaha. Your father was great man Edward'. He helped a lot of people an' gained some money'." He said still laughing. I giggled and ran into the room. "Oh here, yer gonna need these'." Hagrid said throwing me, Ed and Winry 3 little pouches. I looked into the pouch to see nothing inside and put a finger in. It started to go deeper into the pouch and soon enough, half of my arm was in the tiny thing.

"WOAH!! AWESOME!! BROTHER, ARE YOU SEEING THIS?!!" I yelled over to him. He looked over to me and saw what was happening then did the same thing to his, and soon Wiry did the same. We started to put a bunch of the coins into the pouches as Hagrid told us which to grab and what they were.

Winry POV

I looked over to Ed and Al to see that they had half of their arms into the little pouches we had. I gasped and did the same thing. "Yer gonna wanna grab the Gold ones, Gallons. Sliver ones, Sickels. And the bronze ones, Nuts." We started to grab the coins and the bad got heavy from the first coin. I looked over to Al to see he was struggling to hold up his bag. I finished grabbing coins, seeing as my bag was getting heavy and ran to grab Al's. Just as I was about to grab it, someone else grabbed it. I looked over to see Ed tossing it in his hand.

He smirked at me as I gave a little pout then smiled. We started to walk out of the vault and it closed up by itself then we jumped back into the cart. I screamed a little less and had more fun like Al as Ed was laughing like crazy again while Hagrid looked like he wanted to throw up again and Griphook looked bored again.
Once we left Gringotts Hagrid stopped us to talk.

"I'm gonna go get yer things while you guys go get yer wands, alright? Met at yer.. Zonk's Joke Shop when her done. See yer!" He said walking off, pointing to the wand shop. We all looked to each other to see the shops outside. "'Ollivanders. Makers of fine wands since 382 bc.' Wow!🤩" I said out loud to myself between the 3 of us. Al was amazed while Ed had a amazed looking in his eye but didn't show it. We walked over to it and pushed open the door...

— wow. That was werid. I like stopped writing for like 5 days then jumped back onto it. I am very tired as I am watching the Original FMA and rereading Harry Potter while moving into my new house. I hope you have a good day/afternoon/night!
