Part 7: Father dearest

You wake up next to Fred and can't help but smile. You try to get up without waking him but he starts to smile "trying to escape already?" You laugh "most definitely" you reach down and give him a kiss on the cheek when someone knocks on your door. You open it and standing there is your father. Your eyes widen because behind him was the rest of your family. "Hello sweetheart!" Klaus/your father says. Fred is still half asleep in your bed. "Uhhh good morning everyone! It's good to see you all but nows not a good time!" You say frantically. Your mother looks at you and then at kol who is already looking at her like they know what's going on. "I'll get dressed and meet you in the great hall!" You say and they start to walk away but Hayley and Kol stay. You begin to close the door but kol swings it open and Fred jumps up to the noise. Hayleys eyes widen "y/n care to explain" "look it's not what it looks like! I promise" you say . Kol vampire runs to Fred and grabs him "do I need to get my bat?" He smirks . "No! Uncle Kol! He just took me on a date and it got late so he stayed! Nothing happened I swear !" You plead "let him go Kol" she smiles at Fred but he's scared for his life. " I was just teasin!" He pats Fred on the back. "I'm Hayley. Andrea and Hopes mother it's nice to meet you " she reaches her hand out and he's hesitant to grab it but he does anyway. "And I'm her uncle Kol. So if this "date" goes places and you break her heart. I will come for you" he winks at Fred and Fred just nods. "You guys are going to scare him away!" You complain. "No it's okay darling, I can handle it. Nothing can change the way i feel about you" he gives you a reassuring smile and squeezes your hand. You blush and look away. "You may just be the perfect guy for my daughter , but I'll still keep my eye on you two. And you must tell your father." "Mother no! You know how he will react"  you say. "You have your witch powers to use against your father he doesn't stand a chance. He wouldn't hurt you in any way ." She says "I'm sure he could rip out his heart in .2 seconds or tear out his throat or-" "UNCLE KOL!" You yell. He laughs "ok ok I'll protect your little boyfriend if it's needed" Fred seems relieved "uh thank you?" He says "I think I should get going we have class, I'll see you late y/n" he smiles and leaves. You sigh "well that's down the drain now." "Honey he really likes you I can tell. He will stay " Hayley comes and sits next to you. "Now your sister wrote to me saying things weren't going good so what's up with you two" you sigh again "she said she wished I wasn't her sister. And that I'm going down dads path and I bunch of uncalled for things when I did nothing but try to protect our secret ! " Hayley hugs you "you know your sister just wants to fit in" "doesn't mean "tear down your sister to get there" just to be cool it really hurt my feelings mother" " I know sweet he-" Klaus barges in "WHO IS THIS DRACO BOY!" He's angry and yelling "you get up father what are you talking about?!" "Your sister tells me some boy named Draco broke your heart! And I'm going to tear out his heart and shove it down his throat!" Draco walks it without looking "hey y/n can we talk now?" He looks up and sees your whole family in your room. You shake your head telling him to leave. "Uhh I see your busy I'll come back later"  he's about to leave when Klaus runs to him and pushes him in and slams the door. "And who might you be?" He's says still angry. "Uh I am I uhh Malfoy.. Draco Malfoy." Klaus looks at him angry while his eyes glow bright yellow and viens pop out from under his eyes. Draco is terrified but he doesn't move. Klaus grabs Draco by his throat and pins him against the wall. "YOU HURT MY DAUGHTER!!" "DAD STOP! Mom do something!" She looks at you and still does nothing "FINE  THEN I WILL" with one snap of your fingers Your fathers neck snaps and he falls releasing his grip from Draco. He's gasping for air and you run to him. You look at everyone and they know you are angry "everybody out. NOW! And take my father with you" they all leave in silence and Elijah picks up Klaus and drags him out. He looks at you still having to catch his breath "I-...I...probably ...deserved that.." his voice is shaky. You pull him into a hug "I guess I kind of have to forgive you now huh? " you smile and he laughs a bit "that would be great pay back.." he replys. "But this doesn't change our relationship. We are just friends." "For now" he smirks. You roll your eyes "I really like Fred , Draco.. I wanted you but you messed up and i dont know how to get back to how I felt for you.." he looks down "I just want you to know.. If anything goes wrong. I'll be waiting for you." A tear streams down his face. You nod as tears fill yours. "Here rest while I go to school. I'll tell the professors you didn't feel good." You tuck him in your bed and grab your stuff and head to class.
