Surviving The Night 2, Into STEM

The Search

Kyra ran down the ruined street's shooting and avoiding the many zombies lurking around until she came across the area where the frequency was; looking around, there was no sight of either Leon or Lily, but a small photo was on the ground; picking it up, it was a photo of her and Leon.

"Our photo... he was here... but where is he now", Kyra asked herself as everything began to fade out.

(Flashback)

Leon was running down the street, no ammo or knife and with many creatures around... he had no choice but to flee; as he was running something bumped into one of his legs causing him to tumble to the ground, but he rolled forward to get back onto his feet; turning around, a familiar little girl was standing back up, looking at him, a scared look on her face.

"Who... who are you", Lily asked, fear in her voice as she tightly hugged four dolls in her arms; Leon knelt down to her height, keeping his distance to not spook her further.

"My name's Leon, are you... Lily Castellanos", Leon asked, gaining her attention.

"...How do you know my name", Lily asked.

"Kyra... your sister", Leon explained as Lily's face turned into a look of both shock and anger.

"You're lying, my sister's dead", Lily shouted, tears entering her eyes.

"No, she's not, I promise; please believe me", Leon asked, pulling out a picture and handing it to her, "there's a recent date on the back and everything",

"Sis", Lily muttered, her eyes focused on the picture.

"Like I said, she's alive", Leon stated, right before Lily could say anything else, growls and shrieks of the creatures began ringing out, they were close.

"They're coming", Lily said, fear in her voice as she backed away.

"Lily, I'm gonna get you outta here safely, but I need you to trust me", Leon asked holding out his arms; Lily nodded her head wrapped her small arms around his neck as Leon got up and began running to a safe area with Lily in his arms.

(Flashback End)

"Leon, Lily, you're both alright", Kyra said, relief in her voice as she attempted to pick up Lily's signal once again, "I have to move fast, they're still in danger... and with Union like this, there won't be any town to search left",

Picking up the signal, she began running down the road once again only to reach a small diner; the inside was empty but the frequency was high.

"Leon, Lily, you two here", Kyra called out, but she received no response; with a sigh, she began looking around she saw a crawlspace, covered by a stove; quickly pushing the stove aside she crawled inside, the room was empty with the exception of two dolls; dolls her mother made when she was Lily's age but passed down to Lily when she was old enough.

"Lily's dolls, they were here", Kyra said as she picked up the dolls that resembled her mother and father; not long after, everything began changing around her once again.

(Flashback)

Leon ran into the diner with Lily in his arms and ran towards the back, setting her down, he quickly shutting the door and locking it in the process; turning towards Lily he put his finger over his lips, motioning to her to keep quiet as she nodded, hugging her dolls tightly as footsteps were heard; the handle began to shake, someone was trying to get in, Leon was quick to reload his gun and point it to the door, but Lily tugged at his pants leg, he turned his head towards her as she pointed to a window; with a nod, he opened the window, helping her out before he climbed out himself, picking her back up, he ran off towards the next safe area.
