Venturing through The Marrow and learning more about Union while fighting creatures in the process, Kyra came across the final hurdle, the gas leak, but with the gas mask, she made it through and reached the exit terminal and appeared outside City Hall.
"City Hall, time to stop this guy and find Lily and Leon", Kyra muttered to herself as she walked towards the courtyard of City Hall, the guy who had taken both Lily and Leon was seen walking inside the building; as she entered the courtyard, the area turned blue and a pile of bodies began morphing into the large woman she saw when she first entered STEM; Kyra attempted to run out, to lure it away, but the gates slammed shut as barbed wire wrapped around the gates, there was no escape.
"Damn it", Kyra shouted, slamming her fist on the gate as she turned around and pulled out her shotgun and began shooting the mutated woman, using her surroundings to her advantage which greatly helped out during the fight; after awhile, the woman fell down, dead.
"Stay down", Kyra sneered, grabbing a matchstick from her pocket, lighting it up and tossing it on the mutated womans dead body; as it burned, she entered the building, inside she saw another Mobius search member, Harrison, he was sitting on the floor, wounded and covered in blood, the front desk was the only thing that kept him sitting up.
"Who's there", Harrison asked
"It's okay, Harrison, right; I'm not one of them", Kyra reassured.
"W-who are you", Harrison asked once again.
"Don't worry, O'Neal sent me", Kyra replied.
"I, uh... I thought I was the only one left", Harrison grunted.
"I'm looking for the core; where is she, is she here", Kyra asked.
"S-second floor... the Stable Field Emitter", Harrison said.
"Emitter, no, forget about that, I'm here to find the core", Kyra stated, "It'll get you out and you'll be saved",
"...You must turn on the Emitter, I-It... will stabilize the environment", Harrison explained "without it, Union will completely collapse... then the core won't matter; turn it on, it will affect his power...",
"...His power, you mean...", Kyra began.
"Take this... use it to turn on the emitter", Harrison said, holding out his communicator, as she took it, Harrison gave out his final breath and his body went limp and fell to the ground.
"I'll turn it back on, and stop this guy... don't worry guys, I'm still gonna find you", Kyra said as she made her way towards the second floor, most of the area was warped due to the man's power, even trying to taunt her by showing pictures of Lily and Leon, looking for a way out, but she kept moving forward and found the Emitter; plugging in Harrison's communicator, the device powered on.
"Restart sequence initiated",
Kyra let out a sigh of relief, the nightmare of City Hall was almost over, door open from behind her as she heard the sound of a camera powering on; quickly pulling out her gun, she began to turn around, but the camera clicked as she felt herself raising her gun in slow motion; in front of her was the guy, he lowered his camera and began walking towards her.
"You've been searching for me for so long, so I have come, but wait, it's not me you seek, is it... no, it's the girl and the boy", the guy stated, circling around Kyra, "I should be offended, but how can I be; you're not the only person who wants her power, there is another, one far more deserving, one who can offer rewards you could never imagine; so sorry but you've been outbid",
The guy took out a knife and swung the blade towards her face, the knife stopping near her eye; Kyra, who was still in slow motion, kept moving her gun towards him, but looked at him in confusion at the same time, as he brought the blade away from her face.
