"Torres... where...", Kyra began, staring at the destroyed machine, all that was left was to find Theodore; soon after, fire emerged from the floor as Theodore's voice rang out, and Kyra held her gun out, looking around the room.
"Kyra Castellanos, you refuse to step into the darkness... so you try to bring me to the light; come then, I await you...",
The scenery changed around Kyra; she was now in a dark open space, the only source of light was coming from her flashlight, Theodore's voice rang out once again...
"You want to find your dear sister... go to her then... see if it's everything you've dreamt of",
Lily appeared, walking out from the darkness; as Lily looked up at Kyra, her eye's widened in surprise at the sight of her, she was here and not with Myra which caused her to begin questioning what happened; as she neared Lily, fire emerged around Lily and she began to scream.
"LILY", Kyra shouted, running into the fire and grabbing her, as she ran out, she was burned in a couple places, but in her hands... were ashes; as the ashes fell from her trembling hands, another silhouette appeared, her mother.
"Mom, Kyra mumbled in shock as she began running towards her; Myra walking away towards what appeared to be someone holding a gun; right before Kyra could reach Myra, a gunshot rang out, and she disappeared, turning towards the other figure, she saw her father.
"Dad", Kyra said, tears threatening to spill as she began running towards him; barbed wire began spewing out from the ground, wrapping itself around her; as she began fighting the barbed wire, successfully escaping it, he was gone... Theodore's voice rang out again...
"Do you still want to find them",
"Why are you showing me all this", Kyra shouted, Theodore's voice rang out...
"Come to me if you want to know",
Walking forward through the corridor and appeared in what appeared to be a throne room, she looked around at her surroundings, clones of herself were strung around, almost all of them were muttering like broken records, their eyes dead; the lights came on and Lily stood there, Theodore was nowhere to be seen, but she soon began approaching Kyra.
"Lily, is it really you", Kyra asked as she walked up towards her; right before she could get close, flames came out of her.
"There she is, your precious sister, is this what you wanted", Theodore asked, his voice coming from behind Kyra, she quickly turned around only to find nothing; turning back around, Theodore now stood behind Lily as she began walking forward.
"Sis... why didn't you come home sooner; you could've saved me", Lily stated, her voice sounding upset, the flames extinguishing around her, " you let this happen... why didn't you save me",
"No, please, I-I couldn't, I wanted to..." Kyra said, Lily began walking forward, leaving a trail of fire behind her as Kyra began subconsciously stepping back; she then ran to her, hugging her leg and bursting into flames before disappearing; Kyra let out a scream, trying to put the fire on her out; the flames subsided after some time as she dropped down to her knees.
"You hold many regrets; join me... and I can help you forget about them; make your dreams come true", Theodore stated as Kyra began holding her head in pain, "together, we can take Lily from Myra; once I have the power of the cores, you will be truly free",
"Stop... Stop it", Kyra muttered, raising her voice.
"Your darkness is strong... no matter how many puppets I send... she breaks them", Theodore stated, "you've pushed her away too much... you infected her",
"Stop it... Stop it", Kyra stated, almost shouting, pulling her gun out
"Like me, she wanted to help... to save you", Theodore stated, "I can cure her... fix her... and free you",
"STOP IT", Kyra shouted shooting at Theodore, only for Torres to stand where he once was; shock appeared on her face, her gun sliding out of her hands "n-no, Torres... I-I'm sorry, I-I didn't.... I didn't...",
Her vision blurred until it faded altogether.
(Meanwhile)
"So, Theodore's stronghold appeared in the Theatre District, and that can get us there safely", Leon asked, looking at a machine Hoffman brought with them.
"Yes, although it still needs some work done to operate properly", Hoffman stated as then the door opened, a man entering the room; although Leon instantly recognized him, Hoffman pointed her gun at him.
"Don't move", Hoffman ordered as the man raised his hands,
"Mobius, right", the man asked.
"Shut up, don't say a word", Hoffman shouted, "you're not one of us",
"No, I'm not, Kidman sent me", Sebastian explained, "look, I'm here to help, ok, my name is Sebastian Castellanos",
"You're lying, Sebastian Castellanos is dead", Hoffman responded as he looked at her, shock and confusion on his face.
"What, no, who... who told you that", Sebastian asked.
"Hoffman", Leon called out in an attempt to stop her.
"They sent me in to find my daughters, Kyra and Lily, I'm telling you the truth", Sebastian stated as Hoffman lowered her weapon.
"...I know", Hoffman said as a confused look appeared on both Leon and Sebastian's faces.
"...You do", Sebastian asked, lowering his hands.
"Lack of micro expressions and deflection, no verbal parroting", Hoffman explained, "Kyra was the same way when I did the same thing to her; how I know you and her were telling the truth",
"The team psychologist", Sebastian stated as she nodded her head; he then turned his head towards Leon, "Leon, correct",
"How do you...", Leon began.
"Kidman, she told me all about you", Sebastian stated, "where's my daughter",
"She's with another agent, she should be calling anytime soon", Leon reassured as the door to the Restricted Area opened with a loud thud; making their way over, their eyes widened when they saw an injured Torres and an unconscious Kyra.
"KYRA", both Leon and Sebastian shouted in unison as the three ran over, the men grabbing hold of Kyra and gently laying her down on the floor as Hoffman took Torres to the couch.
"What happened back there", Hoffman asked, shock in her voice.
"T-Theodore... he's messing with her... she... shot me without knowing... I-I don't blame her though", Torres stated as she then passed out herself, Hoffman began treating Torres the best way she could as Leon and Sebastian watched an unconscious Kyra.
