Arriving at the wall of fire, Theodore's Stronghold stood a few blocks away from them; activating the device, it created a huge dome which dispelled the fire around them, but it wasn't enough to fully reach the Stronghold.
"I'll have to carry and operate it from here", Hoffman stated, "it should protect us from the fire, but it won't stop those things in there from trying to kill us",
"Don't worry, we'll take care of them", Sebastian reassured as the four moved forward, towards the stronghold
"You gonna be alright", Leon asked as Kyra nodded her head.
"About time I move on, if PTSD doesn't kick in, I'll be ok", Kyra reassured as creatures of fire began running towards them as Leon, Kyra, and Sebastian shot them down; as they grew close, the device began to malfunction, Hoffman put it down to fix it as quick as she could, the fire creatures running towards them as the dome grew smaller and smaller.
"Is it almost fixed yet", Leon shouted.
"It's starting to get really hot in here", Kyra shouted; after awhile, the device began working once again, the dome growing back to full size again.
"Got it", Hoffman stated, picking up the device, but an army of creatures were closing in behind them.
"MOVE, NOW", Sebastian shouted as the four ran towards the stronghold; as they made it to the stairs, a creature tackled Hoffman down, dropping the device upon impact, it began to short circuit as the dome growing smaller once again.
"Hoffman", Kyra shouted, running up towards Hoffman; the machine broke, the fire quickly growing closer.
"Just go, save Lily", Hoffman shouted as the fire reached her; Kyra was pulled back into the stronghold as the doors closed.
"Come on, let's get this sonofabitch", Leon stated.
"As of right now, we're the only ones left, let's make him pay", Kyra said as the two men nodded their heads; climbing up towards the top, avoiding creatures and solving different puzzles; they finally reached the top, "Here we are, he's just up ahead, I don't know what we'll face, you guys ready",
"Yeah", Leon said.
"Let's take down this sonofabitch", Sebastian stated as the three entered the room; Theodore was sitting on his throne, watching the three enter.
"If it's a taste of despair you wish, a taste of despair you shall receive", Theodore said, waving his hand as Lily appeared out of flames; Kyra let out a sigh as both Leon and Sebastian looked at her, worried about what might happen.
"Why weren't you there, sis, you didn't save me", Lily asked sternly, walking towards Kyra; this time, she moved forward catching Theodore's attention; as she ran towards Kyra, she knelt down, arms out as Lily ran in, hugging her; Theodore attention was on the sisters a curious yet angry look present.
"I know I wasn't there when you needed me, I'm sorry; I've blamed myself for it every day", Kyra stated, "I love you baby sis; I'll save you this time, I promise",
Lily began to glow as she faded away; standing back up, Leon and Sebastian joined her side, both had smiles on their faces which later turned to rage as they all looked at Theodore.
"I see you've overcome your guilt... regained your missing piece... yet you forget about your fears; remember where it all began, remember... Beacon", Theodore stated as both Kyra and Sebastian held their head in pain, Leon concerned about them; as the pain subsided, the three looked around to see a hallway, a familiar one to both Sebastian and Kyra, "Yes... you remember it all"; the three looked around, only to hear the sound of a chainsaw, making them freeze in their tracks.
