"A massive thank you for coming tonight..." Louis is saying the usual thank-you speech to the audience. They all hurry out from stage not looking back, and not looking at me, except for Harry, who stops right in front of me. I see him open his mouth, then closes it, before finally speaking to me and saying: "Wanna grab some food?" I don't normally eat and I'm pretty sure that wasn't what he originally wanted to say, but to my own surprise I nod.

"Sorry that it's not so fancy," Harry says with an apologetic look on his face. We're sitting at McDonald's.

"It's okay," I say looking down at the table, glad that Harry's wearing a cap, so I can't look into his eyes and he can't look into mine.

"I guess you know my name, but I don't know yours?" he says.

"I'm Victoria".

I still have no idea of why Harry wants to talk to me, and my curiosity is quickly getting bigger and bigger.

"Well, the weather isn't so good today, is it?" Harry says slowly.

The rain is pouring down. Small talk. Something I hate and I am also incredible bad at it, maybe that's why I have never had a friend. I am just about to open my mouth to say something equally stupid about the weather, when I change my mind.

"Cut the bullshit. Why do you want to talk to me?"

Harry takes off the cap, which was his only disguise from the millions of girls who are hoping to meet him and looks down the table where my arms, with my many cuts, are resting. It's pretty clear why he wants to talk to me, but I won't make it easy for him. I wait patiently while seeing him struggling to find the right words to say.

"Like.. Do you want to die?"

It is so easy for me to lie, because I have done it so many times before. Do you often cut? No, it was just an experiment, and I will never do it again. How are things at home? Great, my mom just got a job. Do you get bullied? No, it is just an intern joke between us. I open my mouth, I am just about to tell another lie, when I look into Harry's green eyes. He actually looks worried, not like the others who just ask because they have to.

"Yes."

He looks surprised, maybe because he didn't expect such an honest answer.

"Was that all?" I ask, wanting to leave even though I haven't even tasted my milkshake yet.

"No, please wait!" he almost begs and I turn my face to look at him.

"I don't believe you want to die.. The world is beautiful.. Maybe you just havn't seen it. If you saw the world, then I don't think you will leave it," he says matter-of-factly, and I just shrug.

"I can show you the world. The beauty of it. There is some beauty in it."

It almost sounds like he is trying to convince himself, and not me.

"I can show you beautiful things about the world."

I doubt that will make me stay, but how can I say no to Harry?

"And why would you do that?" I ask, even though I have no intention of seeing the world or staying in it.

"Because.. Lately I have been feeling like a robot.. Like I don't really feel anything... I don't get the same excitement I got when I started.. and trying to bring your happiness back can maybe bring my happiness back, too," he explained with the most serious look I have ever seen on his face. "Like I can see the world for the first time again through your eyes," he adds in an almost begging voice.

I look into his green, sparkling eyes and I realize that maybe I can do some good before I leave this world.

"Okay, you can show me the world. But this is my condition," I say and I don't continue before I'm 100% sure I got his attention.

"You can't under any circumstances tell anyone about my scars or my wish to commit suicide." I know what will happen then – I will get into some kind of hospital with no freedom whatsoever. "I promise," he states, and we shake hands.
