Blood runs down my hand and down to the sink, the stinging feeling makes me sigh in relief. I actually don't know why I cut or why I like it so much - maybe it's because I am so angry at myself and most people from my past, and instead of breaking down in tears, I cut to get the pain and frustration out. The small razor blade is now parallel to my new scar on my wrist; I just had to press a little....

RIIING! The doorbell rings. I freeze for a moment, before my brain starts working again and I hurriedly throw the razorblade beneath my bed. RIIIIING!

"Harry, have some patience! I just need to get some clothes on," I yell, my voice is shaking a bit. Blood is still dripping down from my new scar.

I hurriedly put on one of Harry's oversized sweatshirts and pull down the sleeve, so my scar is invisible. I open the door, only dressed in panties and an oversized sweatshirt, while saying; "I told you to go and have... fun" in an almost angry tone, as I'm 100% sure it's Harry who's outside.

"Niall!" I say, bewildered. "What are you doing here?"

For a moment he looks a bit hurt, when I don't just let him in right away. But he quickly recovers and holds up a bag.

"Thought you wanted some company? I brought food."

I open the door completely for him and smile back at him. "Sure, I'm just gonna go.. ehm.. to the bathroom," I mumble, as I walk back to the bathroom, grabbing a pair of shorts on my way.

Harry's POV

I couldn't enjoy the night, when I knew Victoria was at home, being sick, so I went home early. I tiptoe to Victoria's bedroom; this has become a habit of mine, because I want to make sure she's okay. I have never woken her up, but when I see Niall lying next to her, her head resting on his shoulder I have to fight hard to resist the urge of waking them up. I wonder if I should wake Niall up. He could get sick if he is too close to her. Maybe he will even thank me for it, I think, but I don't wanna do anything that might make them think that I am jealous. Which I am not. Not at all.

As I crawl into my big, cold bed all alone, I check my phone. The screen lights up; a text from Taylor, actually 3 texts from Taylor. I wonder what's so urgent?

* * *

"Did you sleep well?" I ask when Victoria comes out from her bedroom, trying to sound casual, but the words comes out in a voice, which does not sound like my own.

Victoria shrugs, "Yeah, I think I feel asleep while we were watching a movie."

"Which movie did you see?"

"A cheesy romantic comedy."

"Did you sleep in that?" I sound like a mother interrogating her daughter after a night out. Victoria looks down at her unfashionable outfit; a big sweater of mine and a pair of black shorts.

"Yeah? Do you have a problem with me borrowing your sweater?" Her tone is casual, more casual than I manage to make mine, obviously it doesn't bother her that she slept next to Niall - are they a couple now?

"No, but ask the next time," I say, sounding harsher than I intend to. Maybe it's the missing sleep that's making me a bit angry, I think. Maybe it's actually a good thing, because now I won't have a problem with telling her, is my last thought, before I blurt out:

"I'm going to a premiere tonight, and I'm going with Taylor, my ex-girlfriend." I stare into the television screen, it's not even on, but I don't wanna look at Victoria.

"Okay then, have fun," she says and actually sounds happy for me. I think it's the happy tone that causes me to get even more annoyed.

"Hey! You can come with me, then.. It's for this new movie, can't remember what it's called," says Niall from behind me. I turn around and look at him; haven't combed his hair, wearing a tank top on with black jeans. How could I, without words, tell him that I didn't want Victoria there? The presence of her would make me feel guilty for bringing Taylor and not her.

"I thought the two of you were going together, but... " Niall continues with a shrug, he isn't very good at hiding his happiness.

"Sure, sounds like fun," Victoria says and sends Niall a cute, genuine smile, that she usually saves for me. I try catch Victoria's deep blue eyes and I wish I can tell her, without words, so that Niall can't hear, that the reason why I didn't ask was because I didn't think she would want to go. And now it is too late to ask or tell her without it sounding like I'm jealous.

"So, mate, are you and Taylor dating again?" Niall asks with a too innocent look on his face. I'm still staring at Victoria, who does not seem hurt at all by the fact that I didn't invite her.

"You were such a cute couple, Taylor seems like a really nice girl," Victoria adds with a smile on her face.

"We have been texting a lot recently," I answer which is not a complete lie. I did receive lots of messages from her, I just haven't responded to any of them before last night.

//Auhtor's note: I have nothing against Taylor Swift or anything, I actually think she's a great rolemodel and she makes some cathcy songs, I just think the image the media has created of her fits in this story, especially later on in this story, so be excited :)
