"If I choose you over my sleep, you must be really really important to me."

Taehyung spoke up out of the blue "you know what Y/n, you look really sexy when you concentrate on something."

There was a brief silence before y/n burst out. "Aish! This men would never change! I shouldn't had let you in at the first place! GET OUT!" Y/n said with a half pissed and half blushing face. She started to push him out of the room.

"What's wrong in looking sexy?! I wasn't trying to flirt. I really mea-yah! Stop pushing! I'm warning you, girl. Aah! It's hurting! Ouch! THAT'S IT!." As Y/n was continuously trying to push him out of her room, Taehyung got a hold on both of her hands to stop her from pushing him and pinned her to the wall.

"Yah! How dare you?!" Y/n yelled while trying to get rid of his grip but she was too weak for that. "Wae?! Why can't I give you a single compliment without being misunderstood for flirting?! When Jungkook said that cheesy line of him being your first fanboy, you didn't say anything to him! And let me tell you one more thing, you look really cute when you blush." Taehyung whispered the last part by leaning close to her face. Y/n was shocked by the fact that Taehyung heard the conversation between her and jungkook. "H-How do y-you know that Jungko-"

"Taehyung-ah, Where are you?" Y/n and Taehyung got startled by hearing the voice of Taehyung's mother coming from near his room next to Y/n's room. Well, apparently the apartments didn't have soundproof walls.

"Wait-Isn't that a woman's voice? Wh-" Y/n said narrowing her eyes at him. "I still have more to say. I'll go later. And that's my mom's voice by the way." Taehyung said not being bothered even a bit because of the unexpected guest. "Stop saying nonsense! What would your mom say if she sees you here at this hour?! Just go!" Y/n said dragging him to her balcony.

While Taehyung thought for a moment and sighed. "okay." He jumped over to his balcony. And just at that moment, his mom entered the room. "I called your name so many times! What were you doing!" His mom glared at him. "Nothing just...hehe. But what are you doing here?" He said sheepishly.

"I missed you so I decided to come over to see your face and make sure you're still alive." His mom said hugging him affectionately. "I missed you too. Good that you came. Otherwise I would've visited you and dad tomorrow anyways." Taehyung hugged back.

"By the way, I heard that y/n shifted in the house next to yours from Jae hee. Should I go and meet her?" "NO! YOU CAN'T." Taehyung refused quickly as he was afraid that she would become suspicious if something about earlier got slipped away from y/n. And plus, he didn't want to be misunderstood for sending his mom intentionally to tease her.

"Why not?" His mom gave him a questioning look.

"Because..ummm...oh yeah...it's too late to go to her house and also she has an exam tomorrow so she's probably studying now. So I think you shouldn't disturb her." He said in a nervous tone. "Okay then I'll just meet her later. For now, I'm going back. Your dad must be waiting. Our flight to busan is soon to depart. Don't skip meals and take good care of yourself...arasso?" "Oh right. I remember dad mentioning about your mini vacation to Busan last time. I'll see you both off then." Taehyung said to her with a smile.

Y/n's Pov.

What was that..? How did he know about what jungkook said to me? And why was he bringing that up out of the context? Kim Taehyung, it's gonna take an eternity to understand you...

Taehyung's Pov.

Aish! You pabo, kim taehyung! Why did you said that to her?! Now, she must be thinking that I stalked both of them! It is true though... and those compliments...those weren't supposed to be said aloud! Why did you say those to her?! But she was looking really good...she always does...

From the passed 4 days, y/n's exams were going on. These days, Taehyung always came over to her whenever she went to study. He would just stare at her and watch carefully her every single action. It had became a kinda ritual of him. Many things happened in these days in between them.

Day before the second exam...​​​​​​​

Y/n's Pov.

I was just studying when I heard a knock on the door to the balcony. "Is it you again? Get lost. I need to really study too." I said without looking at the door. He started knocking loudly in place of going away. Aish! I opened the door and saw him standing with his boxy smile. "What do you want?" I asked him but rather then answering me, he barged in and sat on the chair across to mine. Why to knock when you're just going to barge in?

"I'm bored so I'll just sit here without saying anything. Not even a word so you won't be disturbed. And also you shouldn't talk like that to a guest in your house." He said blankly. Was I too harsh with my words? Maybe I should just let him sit...

"I'm going to study till late? Are you going to stay up till then?" let's see what he would answer.

He nodded without any hesitation. "of course. I can stay awake till really late. So don't worry."

We will see, Mr. Kim taehyung.

At 12 : 30 am..

I was revising my notes when I suddenly heard a light snore near me. I looked up and saw that Taehyung dozed off on my study desk. 'Can stay awake till late' my foot. I should stop studying now cause knowing his personality and my experience of studying with him for the last few days, he wouldn't move an inch until I stop studying. I'm almost done too.

Should I wake him up? But he's sleeping so peacefully right now... But his body would ache tomorrow if he would keep on sleeping on this chair. "Taehyung-ah. Wake up...I'm done now. You can go and sleep now in your bed peacefully. Wake up, sleepy head." I said chuckling. He opened his eyes but closed it again because of the light in my room. Cute... I tapped his shoulder again and again. And he finally opened his eyes again. "Arasso. I'm going now. Good luck for the exam. " He said with his barely opened eyes and went to his room.

Day before the third exam...​​​​​​​

Taehyung was about to knock but before he could do that.."Forget it. Just come in." He would again fall asleep today. Like he said he didn't said a word at all and just stared here and there. I'm really tired today plus this subject is just too boring and easy that it's making me sleepy. I was trying really hard to stay awake but I ended up sleeping.

The next morning I woke up and I was on my bed. I don't remember going to bed myself. How is it possible? Maybe it's just that I don't remember.

Wait-How could I forget that defect in my manufacturing that makes me forget what I said or did when I get too sleepy and tired sometimes? Maybe it's just that...right? But strangely, I had a really weird and ridiculous dream too. It looked so realistic that I feel like it wasn't a dream.

Taehyung's Pov.

I woke up at 7 am and instantly felt like a piece of shit. Y/n must have woken up by now too. Thinking about her made me remember what happened yesterday. She would kill me if she comes to remember about that.

Tae, you're a dead meat for sure now?!
