Hearing his question ,Y/n turned around to face him with a shocked expression. "I mean I have been thinking about this from a long time. How ever since I met you, I always felt like there's something special about you which makes me want to keep you around me forever. At first, I thought that I was just attracted towards you and it's gonna be a fleeting feeling but now I think it's something else...m-maybe L-Love...you know, how I have never believed in things like this but now...it's different. I want to figure out my feelings towards you so the thing I want to say is...let's try dating?" y/n's cheeks turned into a bright shade of pink by hearing this.
"I...Why didn't you tell me this sooner since you said that you had been thinking about this from a long time?" Y/n asked while avoiding to make eye contact as she was too flustered to do so.
"Well...there were few things from my past that were troubling me. There was a time when I was really open to say how I feel in front of the world but that's not the case with me anymore. I don't know if the feelings I have towards you are of love or anything else. But if it's of love then I'm afraid to say this in front of you and this world, Y/n. At least, I'm not ready to say it now for sure. This world can change how a person feels really easily. I have seen people who used to say 'I love you.' change into someone who accused me of taking advantage of themselves."
Y/n took a moment to take in whatever he said just now before feeling a bit relieved that he finally said how he truly feels to her. Honestly. With no filter. And for the record, she didn't mind waiting for him to say things like 'I love you' or 'I like you' openly. It didn't even matter to her. All that mattered to her was that she had Taehyung right by her side.
"You can take your time to think about us cause I-"
"let's try it." Y/n said finally looking up at him with a smile.
"Are you sure?" Y/n nodded at him in assurance making him hug her tightly.

She was a bit taken back by this sudden attack of affection but hugged him back eventually. They stayed like that for a moment till Taehyung finally pulled back only to look at her face.
Her features were looking extraordinarily beautiful under the moonlight falling on her face.

He caressed her right cheek with one hand while his other hand was on her waist. Soon his eyes fell from eyes to her lips and he started to lean in to get rid of the distance between their lips.
His lips were just an inch apart from hers when he saw that she had her eyes tightly closed and her cheeks were a bit red and warm. That's when it clicked him that it's gonna be her first relationship and her first kiss probably according to her cause she doesn't remember the one which happened in her bedroom!
