It was already past 8 and jungkook was scared as fuck, overimagining the possibilities that might have happened to taehyung.

He was in his car searching for taehyung all around the block, at the verge of crying.

He even called his mom and told her to search for taehyung and dropped the kids at jimin's house who also tried asking the neighbors if they've seen taehyung around.

Jungkook was already a street away from their home and there was still no sign of taehyung.

And now, when he was about to call the police, his phone suddenly rang. He quickly flipped it over and his heartbeat increased when he saw who the caller who was.

"Babe! Where are you?! Are you fine?!" jungkook asked as he screeched his car to a halt.

He couldn't even hear anything and the call was cut, which shocked jungkook to the core.

"Taehyung?! Tae?!" he yelled in the phone and was about to call back when a message popped on his screen from taehyung's number.

Come to xx warehouse

Jungkook gulped as he turned his car towards the given direction. The text was definitely not by taehyung and that scared jungkook more than he already was.

I hope you and the baby are fine, tae.

Jungkook stumbled out of the car as soon as he reached the mentioned destination and ran towards the warehouse.

He was about to enter inside but saw someone sitting on the ground at the other end, and it took him not more than a second to realize that it was his beloved husband.

"Tae!" he yelled as he ran towards taehyung and crouched near him.

He saw that his husband was lying on the ground, back supporting on a tree as he held his stomach and eyes closed.

Jungkook delicately held taehyung's face in his hands and tried to wake him up.

"Tae? Babe? Wake up" he gently nudged taehyung who was also trying hard to get out of his unconscious state.

Jungkook checked taehyung all over to see if there were any injuries or wounds over taehyung's body but sighed a sigh of relief when he witnessed none.

But noticed the other's red cheek.

"Tae!" he yelled once and taehyung finally got out of his unconsciousness as he blinked a few times and then looked at jungkook.

And seeing jungkook looking at him with extreme worried eyes, taehyung couldn't help but  smile tiringly.

"I'm fine" he said in a low, raspy voice and then pulled jungkook close in a hug.

Jungkook was about to cry by just inhaling taehyung's scent as he hugged him back.

They parted away after a few minutes and jungkook held taehyung's face and looked at him with worry in his eyes.

"Tae, baby, let's head home and talk okay?" jungkook said and taehyung nodded.

Jungkook helped taehyung get up and took him towards the car.

They sat inside the car and jungkook turned the heater on for taehyung, who was refusing to let go of jungkook's hand as he drove, taehyung closing his eyes and feeling the hot air calming his shaky heart a bit.

They reached their home and got inside, taehyung was still trembling and trying not to remember and break down in front of jungkook since he needs to be strong for him.

 Jungkook made taehyung sit on the couch and got him a glass of water. Taehyung took the glass with trembling hands and drank the water, which didn't go unnoticed by jungkook.

He sat beside taehyung and held both of his hands and looked him straight in the eye.

"Tae. Tell me what happened? Why were you there? Why was your phone switched off?" jungkook asked and taehyung made a face that said he could cry any minute.

"I-i can't really hide anything from you, right? No matter if it's big or small" taehyung choked on his tears as he tried to put on a smile but failed.

"S-so, while i was waiting for you, someone knocked on the door and made me sniff something then i lost my consciousness. When i opened my eyes i was in this warehouse, tied to a chair. T-then a guy with a mask threatened me to stay away from you and leave you otherwise he-he'd kill me and our b-baby' taehyung burst out into tears as soon as he stopped speaking, jungkook immediately engulfing him in a hug, patting his head.

"You don't have to leave me or stay away from me. I'll protect you and our baby and our kids from everyone who tries to come in between us. I'm sorry that i had been so busy and irresponsible to leave you alone at home in a state like this" jungkook said, trying to calm down the crying taehyung.

"I'll look into whoever it was who tried to threaten you like this and make them question their existence. I'll make them regret being born. I'll torment them to their core for even saying nonsense like this to you" jungkook said, gritting his teeth.

Jungkook broke the hug and made taehyung look at him.

"But tell me, you won't ever leave me, you'll be strong for me and our kids because my strength comes from you. If you'll be weak, i'll be helpless too. So promise me, you'll take good care of yourself and the baby. Okay?" jungkook gave taehyung an assuring smile and taehyung nodded, giving him a light smile as a response. Jungkook pecked his forehead and lips.

Taehyung heard jungkook's stomach growl and it made him chuckle while jungkook blushed, somewhat happy that at least taehyung's mood lifted up.

"I was looking all evening for you and even forgot to eat food. Would you eat together with me?" jungkook asked and taehyung nodded.

Taehyung was about to get up but jungkook stopped him.

"It's okay. I'm not that good of a cook, like you but i can sure make something eatable. You should wash up and i'll set the table okay?" jungkook pecked taehyung one last time before going inside the kitchen.

Taehyung fondly looked at jungkook who was putting on his apron and smiled.

"Even if the Gods came to tell me to leave you, i won't"
