Jungkook kissed taehyung's cheek as he fastened the seatbelt over him, while taehyung gave him a warm smile. Jungkook never fails to show what a gentleman he is.

"Shall we go then?" he asked as taehyung nodded in response as they left for their long-awaited yet unexpected date.

"So I was thinking if you wanted to go to a high-class restaurant for a peaceful lunch or have street food with me and stroll around the park since it's a nice, sunny afternoon?" jungkook asked as he drove away from the neighborhood.

"Well, the other option seems quite tempting and it would be nice if the baby got some vitamin D" taehyung chuckled as jungkook agreed to his point.

"So before we go, wanna have some ice cream there?" jungkook asked as he stopped the car and pointed towards the small ice cream shop.

"Definitely" 

The two of them got their own flavours of ice cream and decided to eat it while sitting in the park.

They went towards the cherry blossom tree and sat on the bench near it. The tree had become their own precious and memorable spot since it has witnessed every little thing that has happened in their life. From becoming boyfriends to becoming husbands, the tree has blessed them with immense happiness and they can't thank it enough.

Jungkook slightly grazed the initials that they had previously carved on the tree and smiled to himself as taehyung let his head rest over his shoulder.

It might be like the usual days they spend with their kids, hanging around the park and eating ice cream but it turns into a whole different thing if it's just the two of them. Because they don't have to keep an eye on anyone and enjoy their time together. So, even this small date means a lot to them.

Taehyung sighed as his expressions changed from delighted to worried. Jungkook knew why.

He patted taehyung's soft locks and sighed too.

"Don't worry babe, everything would be fine. I've promised to take care of it and look out on you. I will make sure something like that wouldn't happen again. I've installed more cameras and security guards around the house and Jimin is also working on finding out who was behind all this" jungkook said.

"I know that you're doing everything you can but it's not me that I care about. They said that I have to stay away from you otherwise it won't be good for the baby. Whatever may happen to me, I won't let them hurt this baby or any of my kids or you" taehyung spoke his worry out and was startled when jungkook cupped his cheeks and squished them while making him look at him.

"Listen, you don't have to stay away from me or anything and I promise I'll protect you and my family and I can go to whatever means to do that" jungkook spoke in a stern manner which made taehyung chuckle.

"I wasn't gonna leave you anyways. I leave you for a day and I come back to the house being as messy as your bed hair. I wonder how you did things when we weren't together" taehyung chuckled.

"Even I don't remember *chuckles*. Looks like I've gotten used to you" he smiled as he kissed taehyung.

"You taste like butterscotch" taehyung chuckled as he licked jungkook's ice cream.

"Hey! Stop eating mine" he exclaimed as he proceeded to gobble taehyung's strawberry one away as taehyung gasped and smeared the ice cream over jungkook's nose who was startled. 

Taehyung chuckled as he licked the ice cream away from jungkook's nose, making the former feel flustered.

"You still give me those damn butterflies," he said as he hid his flushed face under his palm. Taehyung loving the effect he had on jungkook.

"What next?" he asked as he snatched jungkook's ice cream and started eating it, while jungkook couldn't even protest.

He wrapped his arms around him and hummed while thinking.

"Wanna watch a movie?" he asked, looking at taehyung.

"Of course" 

"At a hotel? I don't wanna go to a cinema or at home" he asked with hopeful eyes and taehyung knew where this was going as he smiled knowingly.

"Of course"

Jungkook yawned as he wrapped the blanket around the sleepy taehyung who had slept halfway of them making out.

Jungkook was a little disappointed but was happy since taehyung was sleeping peacefully and alone after a long time, so he let it slide.

"I'll get my revenge later," he said as he kissed his forehead and wore his pants.

He suddenly got a call from jimin as he picked it up.

"Yes jimin?"

"YAH! WHY ARE YOU AND THAT HUSBAND OF YOURS GETTING TO SLEEP IN A COZY HOTEL WHILE I HAVE TO DEAL WITH FOUR UTTERLY ANNOYING ALIVE FURBALLS?!" jimin yelled as jungkook scrunched his nose.

"Count yourself in when you say annoying alive furballs" jungkook chuckled

"Yeah yeah, whatever" 

"Anyways, this is not why I called you. I came across some information about the incident last week" jimin said and jungkook stopped laughing.

"What about it?"

"I found out who was behind it"
