The Escape Fail

Hayley seemed so much colder. She was still pissed. Klaus wanted to talk to her, but she spent more time talking to Cleo. Well, torturing Cleo really.

She had a lot of anger to get out, and she was taking it all out on Cleo.

That is until Klaus came to stop her. At this point, Hayley was flat-out ignoring Klaus.

"Hayley. Why won't you talk to me? What do you want me to say? Say you hate me, say you don't want to see me again. But don't ignore me. That's the last thing I'd want.

You two are disgusting!" Hayley turned to Cleo and kicked her head, knocking her out.

"So you want me to express me anger at you? Yes, just don't ignore me. Please, it's just something I'm not used to. Well, I want to hit you so...," she said and he rose a brow.

She raised her hand and slapped him right across the face.

His face moved on impact and he looked back and she yelled at him for at least another hour before she was finished.

She took in a breath, and smiled up at him. "Sorry. That was...," hostile? Very...sexy? "Hostile. Sorry. Well, good thing it was a total turn on."

He pulled her in by the waist and she giggled. Her arms glided up biceps, and landed on his shoulders.

"Mm. Really? Not the slapping part, but the way you yelled at me wasn't so bad."

He whispered and went for a kiss. Hayley smirked and stopped him. "May not be mad at you as much as before, but you're still in the doghouse.

Just one kiss? No. It'll tempt me. And I won't be mad. And I need to be mad. Why? So I can torture Cleo properly." Hayley said, and Klaus smirked. "Has she started talking yet? No. All she's said is that the battle is coming and when it does, no one will survive."

Hayley looked down at her and sighed.

"We'll come back later, let's take a break."

Hayley nodded and followed Klaus out the cell, and locked it. Hayley turned to him and was about to speak when the door was kicked open and Hayley was pushed into the wall across from it.

Her head slammed against the wall, and she slid down, blood dripping down the wall after her.

Klaus turned and saw Cleo smirking down at Hayley.

Klaus took this as a chance to choke her. He gripped her throat, making her gasp for air. He heard footsteps and saw some of their friends came downstairs.

He heard Caroline's gasp, and he heard Damon start asking questions. "What happened? Cleo tried to escape, hurting Hayley in the process.

He gestured to Hayley was knocked out, blood seeping from the left side of her head. Caroline immediately ran over, lifting her friend's face off the wall. Blood was everywhere.

"Oh God...this is a lot of blood." She said and moved out the way so Damon could pick her up.

She lifted her head up and was mumbling while looking around crazily. She mumbled one last thing before her head fell back. I watched as her eyes rolled to the back of her head before closing.

"Take her upstairs and fed her some blood. I'll handle her. No." Caroline turned to me, her eyes red and blue. "Allow me. You go with your girl." Caroline glared at Cleo making her squirm in Klaus' grip. "I wanna deal with this bitch."

Klaus dropped Cleo before walking upstairs with Damon. When they walked into the living room everyone freaked out.

"What happened? Cleo happened. She tried to escape." Damon laid Hayley down the couch and she immediately sat up. She mumbled looking around before her eyes rolled back again, and she fell back onto the couch.

"Move." Bonnie demanded and both moved.

Bonnie used her magic to see what's up, and gasped at what she found out.

"What?

Cleo used magic on Hayley. She's making it so Hayley can't heal. What does that mean?

It means if we don't heal Hayley soon, she'll die."
