Everything moved too fast. As soon as Klaus heard it, Hayley was falling from his arms and back into the coffin as blood dropped from her shirt. Bonnie screamed, and Kai took her and ran. Klaus dropped next to her, a pain in his chest.

Klaus heaved as the bullet got closer to his heart. Suddenly Hayley shot up, and shoved her hand into his chest.

"No! I can't loose you." She said searchig deep inside his chest to find the bullet that he could feel getting closer to his heart.

When she did reach it, Hayley pulled it out and threw it at Aurora. She fell to the groud as the bullet sunk deep into her chest.

When Hayley did so, Klaus sat up holding her face. He searched her face and she smiled. "I'm going to be fine. If I die, you can revive me. No. I promised not to loose you again, and I won't."

Hayley smiled but it dropped when pain spread through her chest.

She gripped her shirt and his elbow as he called for her. Her eyes rolled into the back of her head, and Klaus drove his hand into her chest, searching for the bullet.

When Hayley opened her eyes again, she saw Klaus looming over her.

"Hayley?" She heard faintly, but her hearing came back after a few seconds. She laid in the leaves, and her chest was colored red.

Hayley groaned while sitting up, and Klaus held her steady. "Don't move much. I almost didn't get that bullet out. If it took a second longer, and you would've been a goner."

Hayley looked over and saw Aurora's grey and ashy body. "Who did that? You. When you took out the bullet you threw it into her heart. Oh." Hayley looked surprised.

When she had passed out, it felt like she was in between life or death. Either way, it was not pleasant. Hayley felt like something stopped her from dying.

Like someone had halted her time just so Klaus could take out her bullet.

"Where's Tristan? Now that you think about it, where is everyone? Are they okay?" Hayley asked, and Klaus looked around.

Both Elijah and Rebekah were gone along with the others. Even Katherine was gone.

"Do you think this has something to do with Tristan? Let's check." Both hybrids vamped into the shed to see Elijah lying there.

"Elijah!" Both of them shouted worriedly, rushing over. Hayley kneeled by his side and Klaus checked to see if he was alright.

"His neck is broken but other than that, he's alright. Well we need to find Tristan before-,"

Hayley was yanked to stand with a hand wrapped around her neck, and a gun was pointed at her head.

'Oh you've got to be kidding me.'

"You killed my sister. I knew nothing good would be produced through your relationship. Well when I told you, you didn't listen."

Hayley said, and Tristan gripped her neck harder. "Shut up! He killed the only family I had left. Now I'm going to take everyone he cared for away from him.

I'm keeping Hayley for myself and killing everyone else. She'll be my pet." Hayley stiffened at that and Klaus stood up, an icy glare on his face.

"Listen Tristan, your sister's death was not my fault. She attempted to kill Hayley and I. So are how are you still alive!? We saved each other, Hayley saving me first.

So you did it then?!" Hayley could feel Tristan's breath on her ear and she leaned away. "Yes I did. Serves her right for trying to kill both of us. And," Hayley used her strength and speed to flip Tristan over her and pin him to the ground. "I'm no one's pet." She twisted his wrist so he'd let go of the gun and grabbed it herself.

He sped off, and Klaus was ready to go after him when Hayley grabbed his arm, stopping him.

"Don't. He's a problem anymore. And if he does come back, we'll just kill him.

We need to find everyone else. I'll call Caroline and you call Kai. Okay."

They pulled out their phones and dialed their friends. Caroline was first to answer. "Care? You okay? Good. I'm with Tyler and Jeremy's groups. Good. I was worried. So were we, we heard a gunshot. We thought Aurora killed you. She nearly killed Klaus too. We're okay now though. Meet us at the cars. Okay, see you soon."

Hayley pulled her phone away just as Klaus did. "Kai says he's with everyone but Jeremy, Caroline, and Tyler's group. Caroline's with them. I told her to meet us at the cars.

Same with Kai. Let's go then. What about Elijah? I can carry him, he isn't heavy." Hayley sighed and Klaus looked over her.

"Hey."

She looked up at him and he motioned for a hug. She came into his embrace wrapping her arms around his torso, pulling him close.

"Are you okay? You know, I would say yes but given what I went through...what we all went through, I don't know.

Well I'm always going to be here, I won't ever leave your side and I doubt any of the others will either."

Hayley held him even closer, pressing her forehead to his chest.

"Thank you Klaus. I love you with all my heart." She sounded so passionate about her words. When they said those words to each other, they never exactly thought of it. On top of that, there was the sire bond.

And now, he was sure this was the time. "I love you too.

Klaus? Yes, love? I already broke the sire bond." Klaus pulled away slightly, and she looked up at him.

"When was this? When I was catching up with Ty, we went to his family's cellar, I decided to break it.

It wasn't that I was worried you'd use it on me but, I wanted it gone so Aurora wouldn't have any power over me and when she used it...I pretended to make it seem like a big deal so she wouldn't know.

Why didn't you tell me? Well I thought you would talk me out of it. Why would I ever do that? Hayley, you know I'll respect your decision to break the bond.

Promise you won't keep things like that from me? I promise.

Come on. Let's go home. Yeah."

And with that, Hayley and Klaus departed from the battleground they just fought on.
