Chapter 10

[JK POV]

Y/N ran to the washroom and slammed the door shut. The three of us ran to the washroom and we waited outside to see if something happens.

JK: Hyung, what just happened?

JM: I don't know...

Tae: I think she saw a bad dream or something, she didn't seem bothered by the sound of the airhorn but by something else, otherwise she would've killed us by now.

JK: Why did you do that, anyway?

Tae: Do what?

JK: The airhorn thing.

JM: We thought it would be funny...

JK: I swear to god—

I was cut off by a loud scream from inside. My eyes widened and I slammed the door open, fortunately it wasn't locked. I went inside and saw Y/N holding her head in her hands with tears streaming down her face.

Y/N: Stop...please...stop it...

[Y/N POV]

I started hearing a voice in my head saying some nonsense. I didn't know who's voice it was but it wasn't saying something nice.

Pain...hate...danger...misery...I'll give all of it very soon. I'll make it as painful as possible since that's what you like the most

JK: Y/N! Y/N! Look at me.

I saw Jungkook looking at me with concern, I immediately hugged him and buried my face in his chest.

Y/N: J-jungkook—

JK: Shh, it's okay. It's okay.

He was slowly patting my back, but my head was still filled with questions.

Y/N: Jungkook-ah...

JK: Yeah?

Y/N: Why do these things always happen to me?

JK: Huh?

Y/N: Why do all bad things only happen to me? I also want to live a happy life, but why is it that every second I'm worrying about whether I'm going to die today or not? Why is it like that? WHY?!

He hugged me tightly and rested his chin on my head.

Y/N: I also want to live happily...

Then, I blacked out.

[JM POV]

Y/N: I also want to live happily...

When she said that, my heart dropped, I knew that it was my fault that she wasn't able to live the life she wanted. I should've protected her as her brother but I failed to. I want to bring back the old Y/N, the one who was bubbly and energetic, she was always the one comforting other people but I hated it that she was the one who needed comfort that time and I could never give it to her. I suddenly saw her hand, which was wrapped around Jungkook's waist drop.

JM: Y/N!

Jungkook looked at me and then looked back at Y/N and his eyes widened.

[Y/N POV]

I woke up with my horrible headache gone. I looked around and saw that I was in my room and I tried getting up when I saw Jungkook's hand wrapped around my waist and his head on my stomach. I chuckled lightly and ran my fingers through his hair. He moved a little and then looked at me.

JK: Oh, you're awake?

Y/N: No, I'm still sleeping.

He rolled his eyes.
