3rd P.O.VThe volleyball kisses the floors as they drop at the other side of the court. The cold wind enters the gym running shivers through his spine, he grabs another ball from the ball bin and served it across the court hitting the bottle he had aimed for. The sun had already set, his heavy breathing and the ball bouncing was the only thing heard in the court. He goes up to the front and places bottles on the floor. He tosses the ball up missing it the first time.
"You can't toss properly if you're tired Atsumu-san." He knew who the person was but despite that he turned around to meet her eyes. Times like this he forgot he had a girlfriend, his girlfriend was barely there anyways.
"Where Murakami-san?" She looked for his significant other, looking up at the benches. Ichika was no where to be found. It had been like that for the past few days Ichika was busy, "family things" she says, how could Atsumu believe that? He'd never seen her parents, not like he cared he was happy about her out of sight.
" 'Chika says she's with 'er family." He continued to toss, grabbing another ball from the ball bin. Atsumu tried to grab a ball but noticed the ball bin was no where he placed it.
"Don't overwork yourself Atsumu." There was like a gust of wind that hit him. Y/n had only used his name without any honorifics if she was really worried. He knew how she sort of worked, her small movements, her gestures, her wording. He knew it.
"Come on now. Go change, I'll wrap things up." She began picking up the balls and puts the in the ball bin. He didn't refuse, he didn't utter another word, he followed what she said without any complaints.
She followed him with her eyes as he walked out of the gym, a sigh escaping her lips. She continued the job, she didn't leave it undone. She mopped the floor leaving it spotless, she pushed the ball bins back in the storage room, she puts down the net, she places the bottles back where they should have been.
"Lets go Atsumu-san." She felt the presence of the boy gazed at her for the whole time, he was fascinated watching her clean, he just wanted to watch her. He straightened his position, removing his body from the wooden doorframe. He removed the doorstopper from both of the doors making it shut down, the doors made a huge bang, making him slightly flinch from the noise.
"Ya should 'ave gone home ya know." He says leaning back to his hands, he looked down at her as she was shorter than him. Her hues met with his, such beautiful eyes, brooding about how beautiful her eyes were. She smiled at him making him a bit flustered.
"I knew you were probably exerting yourself, I decided to stop you from it, even though I was a bit late." She looks down at her shoes, her hands were connected at her lower back, her soft fingers caressed against each other.
"Hmm... I know we're in our second years but what are ya choosin' for yer university?" Atsumu was frightened of her disappearing from hid sight, his eyes never meeting hers again. Afraid he was, afraid to lose her from his sight. He'd let her go from his hand, another mistake was for him to let her out of his sight. He didn't her to go, he didn't want her to stray further away from him. His voice was filled with anxiety and sorrow, he tried to hide, but how could he? The infamous L/n Y/n knows everything.
"I-I don't know. I haven't thought much about it to be honest Atsumu-san, the thought never came through my mind. I suppose, I just focus of what's happening now. Have you got anything on mind?" There it was again the beautiful reflection of the moonlight in her eyes as they passed through a window. How the moonlight hits her face, it always leaves him dazzled, he recalled the time when he grabbed her wrist as she turned her head around the sunlight made her a perfect view.
"Nothing to be honest." He faced the white wall hiding his flustered cheeks, Y/n's head remained looking at the long hallway.
"Atsumu-san we'll drive you home." She lets him know in advance, she didn't bother asking for his consent as it was an order. His head turned towards her and tilted meaning why. "It's dangerous outside, even men can get raped." Atsumu slowly nodded he was about to refuse but Y/n managed to stop his sentence before he even started it. "I'm not letting you say 'no'." He chuckled at her, she always drove him home if he overworked himself, she always cared, thats was made him love her.
"I knew I couldn't do it!" The two laughed for a short while. His mind lead him to where his girlfriend, it was unusual as Ichika always went home the same time as he did. Y/n noticed the change of his expression, knowing fully well what he was thinking about, but she couldn't say the truth.
"Murakami-san is probably busy." She said while giving him the smile that says it will be okay in a few days. Atsumu loves attention, the attention of friends, family or any attention that really matters to him; Ichika's attention however did not matter at all, he was just estimating how many days Ichika will not cling into him.
They finally made it to the car, Y/n slid on to the leather seats and buckled her seat belt, Atsumu sat on the other side. The driver was Watanabe-san, the other butler had not yet finished the mission Y/n had set him. Nakayami Ami, the daughter of one of the most notorious assassins of Japan.
There was a comfortable silence that sat between them, it was soothing. Their synched breathing was the only thing heard in the car. The light flashed on her face as they drove by the street-lights of the street, the window Atsumu sat on had moisture in it as his breathing was directed to the glass. His forehead touched the cold glass, leaning on it, his eyes blinked trying not to fall asleep on the car. The black matte car came to a halt meaning they had arrived to the Miya household.
"We're here." Watanabe's voice echoed through the car, Atsumu's body from the old man's voice, he fixed the bag strap that was on his right shoulder, that fell when he sat on the car seat.
"Thanks." His voice was sleepy, his energy was drained out, he was worn out. "G'night." He said before he closed the car door.
"Goodnight Atsumu." She uttered, her voice melodic, an angel's voice indeed. Her sweet nature with her sweet voice.
"OI TSUMU! WE'RE GONNA EAT! IF YA AIN'T GONNA COME AM GONNA EAT YER FOOD!" Osamu who swung the door open yelled at his brother who came home late. It was 7p.m. it wasn't that late but practice ended an hour ago, not that it was surprising, he sometimes go home at 8p.m. if no one stops him. Osamu was thankful of Y/n, the female had always managed to stop him from overworking himself ever since she arrived.
"SAMU IF YOU'RE GONNA DO THAT I'M TAKING THE TOP BUNK!" He dashed to their front door, his brother had already ran away before the older twin hits him. "BYE Y/N!" He stopped his running, turned his head around and beamed a smile towards her.
'He still loves her.' Osamu saw the smile his brother beamed, brighter than the sun. He sadly smiled knowing how it must hurt for his twin.
