3rd P.O.VIn front of her stood the man with red roses. Out of the white walls after two days, the female was sick of the hospital. He didn't wear a fancy suit, he wore a casual outfit.
"Like I promised I'll win your heart again." She questioned her sanity, how could she fall in love so fast after just being broken few weeks ago, or was she always in love. She could feel her heartbeat, she could hear it, she licked her chapped lips nibbling on it.
"We're going out on a date, not like you have a choice anyways." Atsumu shoves her the bouquet of red roses in front of her making it the same colours as her cheeks, he was too red. He didn't look at her but looked at the bushes around her home.
"I'll go get changed then, keep that promise okay." She took the roses with her walking back in the house, her slippers smacking the floor.
"C'mon get in, you wouldn't want to stay for 20 minutes there." She turned around inviting him in. He trailed behind her like a duck waddling behind his mother. He remembered the good old times when he visited almost every-time at her home, it always left him aghast of how there were no speck if dust.
He sat on the couch and watched Y/n head upstairs. She did a side glance seeing how anxious the blond male was around her, just line when they first met, a man full of confidence yet he lost it every time he was around her. He rubbed his palms on his thighs warming his palm that sweat cold beads.
A maid came up to him and served him tea which he wanted to refuse but she had insisted on drinking the green tea. He blew the tea seeing the steam that flew the direction of where he blew it. His eyes wondered around the house seeing things always stayed the same, the picture frames, the vases.
"Oh!" An old woman's voice was heard, she clapped her hands when she saw the guy who sat on the couch who looked nervous.
"Atsumu, right?" He nodded profusely she chuckled softly. The old woman continued to walk down stairs, one of her arm behind her while the other one held the hand rails. Her eyes were always squinted, he began doubting if she could even see.
"It's nice to see you again young man." She reached the bottom of the stairs and walked towards him, her baston hitting the floor, initials carved in the wood and on the top was gold.
"I-It's nice to see you too Takagi-san!" He bowed as a sign of respect. He looked at the tip of her foot, the old woman was always seen wearing sweaters and black skirts that ended two inches above her ankles. She taps the cane twice making him look at her.
"I know my memory is bad I think when we had supper that night I told you to call me Sakura." Her lips were chapped, afraid that if she'll smile it will crack. Her gray hair was on a bun that had some of her hair strands on her front.
"Taking out Y/n on a date?" She asked with a smile, his cheeks were red, yet again. She slightly laughs because of his reaction and she slowly sits on the single seater couch, she hits her thighs softly white softly laughing.
"Erm yes." Atsumu was acting far from his usual self, his shit eating grin wasn't there when he asked Y/n out on a date, his confidence wasn't there as well. The old woman slightly leans forward to Atsumu while patting his shoulder.
"Don't be shy my boy. You remind me of me husband," she spoke like those people who were back in 1500's in England. "He was really shy when it came to me but he wasn't when he was around other people." She suddenly sighed making Atsumu try to predict what happened next.
"He was too shy towards me his friends had to convince him to confess." Atsumu smiled at the story, he suddenly remembered what happened in the morning where everyone including Kita persuaded him to court Y/n once again well he did promise, not including Ichika of course.
"Our first kiss his friends had to push his head so he could kiss me. He was always stuttering when he talked to me." She smiled while her eyes were closed seeing the past with her deceased husband. Her heart longed for him, but she knew that she will get to meet him once again in the other side or even in the next life.
"His proposal, red flower petals formed in a heart shape, we stood in the middle of it while he was on one his knees revealing a ring." One of her hand rubbed the other. "I wonder how long it took him to propose." A sweet chuckle escaped her chapped lips, she smiled again.
"Our wedding, he wore a black tux, his forehead was sweating beads. I held the red roses as I walked down the aisle. When he placed the ring on me, I could feel his trembling hands." She saw the scene when she closed her eyes, the scene where her husband places the gold ring on her finger. She twisted the ring that was on her left ring finger, she suddenly remembers how warm his husband's hands were.
"Spend the time with her as if its your last." Her squinted eyes opened to Atsumu, her purple eyes revealing. "Time goes by so fast you may not even realise that tomorrow may be the last you get to see her." Atsumu could feel his heart pounding he was nervous of what the old woman had said.
"When you left her it felt like time was slow right," he looked up at the old woman. "But when you're with her it will go by so fast you wouldn't even know it's dawn." Atsumu knew what she said was true and he was afraid of it.
"Like the red roses' petals, time can wither as fast as those red petals, soon you'll see the ends of the petals black." She said, everything about what she said made him nervous because he knew they were right. He was scared to admit that someday he was going to lose her but...
"I'll think about the future later!I'll enjoy the time that we're about to spend! If reincarnation exists I'll spend every second with Y/n!" He spoke out with pure enthusiasm. Y/n who was behind her door heard what Atsumu yelled, she could only feel her heart pounding.
