"You're an alcohol monster."

"I'm not!"

"She definitely is Martin." Tango tango naman si madaam G.

"Anyway. I'll tell you a story."

"Oh gosh there she goes again. Anyway Martin I must go. Maghahanap muna ako ng papa. I don't want to hear that stupid sad love story."

"It's not stupid Gee! Baklang to, it's a good story. Umiyak ka nga ng unang marinig mo." Inirapan ko siya.

"O yeah, I'm sorry naiyak nga pala ako but when you told me about it every night, seriously maiiyak na ako sa sobrang inis kapag narinig ko pa ulit."

"That story is great." Bigla nalang eksena at sulpot ni Steven kaya natawa kami maliban kay Martin na hindi makarelate. hinila na siya ni Madam Gee.

"Whose that guy?"

"Oh some guy. Don't mind him, he is not that especial."

"Every guy here seems to know you." Nakataas ang isang kilay niyang pahayag.

"Yeah the perks of being friendly." Nilagok ko ang isang baso ng vodka at binigyan din siya ng isa. Nilagok niya rin ito ng walang kahirap hirap.

"Well boss it seems to me you're a natural drinker like me." Uminom naman ako ng isang shot ng tequila. Puro tequila nalang kase yung natira. Ganun din naman ang ginagawa niya. Sinasabayan niya ako.

"At first it tasted bad, habang tumatagal it taste like water."

"Oh well. Have you read the book entitled The sun and the cave cage girl?"

"No i haven't. That's a very long title."

"It is?" I shrug at nagsimulang magkwento. "The girl obviously was raised by her father in a large cage untill 20. She ought to believe that the only way out is to climb up which she nevers tries to do. Never did she knows that there was this small secret hole that her father did not tell him."

"He should have told her." Napangiti ako.

"But he did not. He wanted to protect her little girl from wild animals otside that cave. Namatay kaya yung asawa niya ng lumabas ng cave so he swear not to let their child out it."

"One day the father failed to return. Naghahanap siya ng pagkain. He was attacked by a tiger and die. Poof." Uminom ulit ako ng isang shot ganun din ang ginawa niya.

"Syempre nagtaka si girl kung bakit hindi pa bumabalik yung tatay niya. Yung stock ng pagkain at tubig niya ay tatagal nalang ng dalawang araw. She knew that something happened. Right then she knew that her father is dead. She decided not to climb the cave and let herself die."

"That's a stupid story." Nilagok niya yung alak, ako rin naman.

"Hindi pa tapos. But one day bigla nalang gumalaw ang paligid. An earthquake, dahil dun nagkaron ng maliit na butas mula sa taas. Nung una natakot siya sa liwanag, but later on he get used to it. Umulan kaya nagkaroon siya ng sapat na stock ng tubig. Naubos ang pagkain niya so she starve at bigla nalang may nahulog na prutas mula sa maliit na butas."

"Naalala niya yung kweninto ng father niya sa kanya, the circle bright creature up in the sky. She started to feel weird, that very moment she fell in love. Laging may nahuhulog na prutas mula duon." Napailing-iling si Martin.

"Okay what next? Panong nahulog sinong nagbibigay ng pagkain?"

"Siguro may puno sa taas ng cave, i don't really know. Basta may nahuhulog. She now have the courage to climb and because she grew in the cage, alam at nakikita niya ang kunwaring pag-akyat ng papa niya. Hindi niya pa nga lang nasubukan."

"Mabilis na natuto siyang makaakyat. Because her hands where soft nagkasugat sugat ang kamay niya. Ilang beses na rin siyang muntik mahulog. Mataas yung cave kaya madalas nangangalahati lang siya at bumababa rin. One day pinilit niyang makaakyat. Pagot at masakit na yung kamay niya pero pinilit niyang makaakyat. Lumampas siya sa sa gitna hanggang sa malapit na siya sa butas."

"Don't tell me na nahulog siya at hindi nakaabot sa butas."

"she did." Sumimangot si Martin sa sinabi ko.

"Nakaabot siya sa butas. Masakit na masakit ang kamay niya at buong katawan. Nanginginig na rin iyon."

"So nakita niya na ang circle bright creature and start to live outside the cave?"

"Yes, she saw the sun but..."

"But what?"

"The hole was too small for her to fit. She knew yet she still hope. She also wanted to see that creature. Hindi na kaya pang bumaba ng katawan niya, she doesn't have enough energy. Nanatili siya sa taas hanggang sa kaya niya. Hindi nagtagal bumitiw at nahulog siya. She died."

"What pagkatapos ng lahat mamamatay lang din naman pala. So what's the catch?"

"Hindi ba ang cliche ng story. She fell inlove, she tried her best and ended up being hurt. She died for love. Tragic isn't it. The girl love the wrong creature. She shouldn't love the sun, masyadong mataas at impossibleng maabot iyon. Maabot mo man masusunog ka lang."

"I still dont get it. I don't like tragic stories." Nakasimangot niyang sabi.

"Me too, I hate unhappy endings. Let's drink!" Itinaas ko ang baso.

"For the girl who is an idiot for hoping even though she knew that she won't fit in!" Sigaw ko

"FVCK THAT BLOODY DAMN HOLE!!!!" Sinabayan ako ng sigaw ng ilang tao sa bar na kilala ko pati narin ang pag bottoms up.

"That line is freaking famous!" Hindi makapaniwalang sambit ni Martin.
