"So how'd it go?" I ask. "Great. I did my best. I deserve an oscar for my performance. I answered the questions with out being nervous. I made sure to look like I had something on my mind but not nervous. I assumed they fell for it when the officer was taking notes. He let me write down the locations and sent them to the chief now we have the best option." He says. "You did an amazing job." I say and kiss his forehead. He holds me tight. I hold him back.
"How about I make your favorite tonight." I say. "I'd like that." He says. I go into the kitchen and make some wonton,dumplings and egg rolls. Once I finish we sit on the couch and eat. "Thank you." He says. "For what?" I ask. "For not giving up on me and loving me still after everything. The whole time I was gone you always had this hope I would come back." He says.
I put my egg roll down. "Sweetie I'd never give up on you because I love you so much. You're my son and I wouldn't dare stop loving you. I care about you so much. More than you can imagine. Even though we were apart that changed nothing. I thought about you everyday. Hoped for your safety. So my answer to your thank you is to not worry about it. I'm thankful that you're back. "I love you too." I say. "Now let's finish eating and go to bed. You're sleeping with me." I say. "Okay." He says. We finish eating and get ready for bed. Once we get in bed I hold him close. I run my hands through his hair and he falls asleep. It works every time.
Time skip
I hear the door bell ring. He starts to wake up. I get up and answer it. It's Enji. "Hey." He says. "Morning." I say. "Are you gonna let me in?" He asks. "Not at the moment." I say.
"Why n-" He's stopped by Dabi's voice. "Mom I'm hungry can we go get cinnamon rolls?" He asks. "In a minute go get ready." I say. "So you took him back." He says. "Of course he's my son. I'll always take him back." I say. "You mean my son." He says. "Don't start it's too early for this. Anyway I'm going back to bed till he gets out of the shower. Besides there was a deal. Your kids are also now my kids. Especially Dabi." I say.
"His name is Touya." He says. I just look at him. "Enji why are you here anyway?" I ask. "I wanted to ask how you were doing after last night. If the baby was okay before I go to work." He says. "They're fine and so am I." I say. "Good that's all. I'll take my leave and see you later." He says.
He kisses my forehead then leaves. I shut the door and go find my clothes. Dabi gets out of the shower. He goes to his room with a towel around his waist. We need to talk about that. He still has my habits. I go take a shower.

"Ready." I say putting my hair up.

The cafe goes back to talking. "I know." I say covering my face. "How did this happen? I thought you couldn't have babies." He says. "That's what I thought too but some how it happened." I say. "So do I know the father?" He asks. "I think you already know who it is." I say. "That motherfucker!" He says. (Indeed he is ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))
The cafe goes silent again. "Language." I say. "I'm gonna kill him if I ever see him." He says. "Dabi." I say and hold his hand. He just exhales. "I know that you don't like him and all. You said you wanted me to be happy. He's the father of this baby. I don't want the baby to be fatherless." I say. "Then I'll be the father. I'll be the best father. Way better than he could ever be." He says.
"I know that you'll be an amazing dad someday but it's not your responsibility to be this one's father. Plus if anything this will be torture for him. I know you like seeing him in pain." I say. He groans. "Sweetie thank you for trying to help and if this doesn't go well. I'll leave him. Then me you and the baby will move to a different place and be a happy family. I promise." I say and kiss his forehead. "I hope you remember that. If not I'll remind you." He says. "Okay." I say.
