"Take a deep breath everything is going to be okay" I assure August, I wanted to see my parents and talk with them.

"I don't want to be here ma cause if they say anything out of line I'm just gonna snap" August said.

"Everything is going to be fine, I promise you we won't be long". I rung the doorbell and Clark open up the door, After all these years he still working for them.

"Oh Princess Ashanti what a pleasant surprise to see you".

"Look just let my mom and dad know I'm here" I tell him as I grab August hand and walk pass him.

"Clark who was at-, Ashanti what you doing here? I just got off the phone with Ronnie. He's been looking for you" my mom say taking a seat, then my dad came in.

"So I guess this the boy you been with when you was supposed to be with Ronnie" my father say while looking at August who was holding my hand tight.

"Look I didn't come here to argue, I came back because I couldn't stand to be around Ronnie any longer. He's been hitting on me and treating me like I'm a prisoner or something, and y'all two on the other hand sent your own daughter away from her kids. Don't you know how hurt I was I didn't get a chance to hold them, change, or here their first word".

August start rubbing my back and I was just upset at the moment, I was ready to go.

"Baby we just want was best for you that's all, and we figure that Ronnie was the guy for you" I just look at my mom when she said that.

"That's the problem all you did was run my life, telling me who I should and should not date or talk to. Well you know what I'm happy with August, we may have our ups and down but he still love me just as much as I love him. Weather you like it or not I'm going to be with him, this is my life and I'm going to live it".

I got up from the couch and was finna head out when Ronnie come walking through the door.

Ronnie

"Hey baby I been worry you been gone missing for four days, are you okay"?

"Yeah bro she good" the dude said holding Ashanti by her waist, since this was her parents house I wasn't going to jump stupid.

"Ronnie I left for a reason, I never love you so just move on and be with someone else" Ashanti said.

"What about our baby we suppose to be having, You can't keep my baby away from me Shanti" I tell her, she look at the dude then back at me.

"I'm sorry but there's no baby, I was on the pill Ronnie. Do you really think that I was going to have a baby for you" I was hurt at what she just said, how she can have a baby for this dude and not for me.

They both left out the house and I just stood there thinking what just happen.

"I thought you was a good charm man but you was hitting on my baby, I didn't put her with you for you to be beating on her" Joseph said walking up to me.

"Your baby? She wasn't your baby when you sent her away from her own kids, you just wanted your little princess to be with me cause the way I live. Lets be real for a minute its all about the money Mrs. Lodaz now am I'm right"? She couldn't even answer me cause it was true.

At first I didn't want to fool with Ashanti cause she was young, but her mother insist that I marry her so I went along with it until I start catching feelings for her.

"Son I think you need to leave and not come back, if I ever see you around again you just might not see another daylight" Mr. Lodaz say.

I took one more look at Mrs. Lodaz and then at Clark who didn't even bother to look my way, I walk out the door and left.
