chpt.3 Party/Fight Night

Soon as I left the mall I told Tiff and Jaminse I'll call them later, I got in my jeep on my way to the house. I really don't want to see him I haven't even been gone that long so why even come down here to see me.

I pull up in the driveway next to this black limo, I just roll my eyes I can't see myself marrying Ronnie. For one he's way older than me I'm only 16 and he is 24, my parents thought it would be best to get married at a young age just because they did the same thing.

I grab my bags out the back and made my way in the house to see my mom in the kitchen getting dinner started.

"He's here baby" she say while smiling.

"Great but why is he here anyway, I mean I haven't been gone that long".

"Ashanti he just misses you now go in there and say hello to your soon to be prince slash husband" my mom tells me as she push me out of the kitchen into the den.

I took a couple of deep breaths and slowly walk into the den where my dad was and Ronnie. They was too busy talking having a good time none of them recognize me.

"Oh hey sweety look who came to see you" my dad say while getting to leave us to alone.

As soon as my dad left Ronnie got up from the couch and made his way over to me to get a hug.

"I miss you baby girl" he hug me.

"Ronnie I haven't been gone that long you could have just call me" I say taking a seat on the couch.

"I have been calling, I told your mother to tell you I call but you never return them".

Which he wasn't lieing about that we he do call I never return them.

"Oh I just been busy you know with school and hanging with my new friends".

"Are these friends girls"? He ask me.

"Yeah" I frown at him wondering why would he ask that stupid question.

"As soon as everything get situated back in Puerto Rico I'm coming back for you so we can get married".

I can't believe what I'm hearing right now.

"Why do you want to marry me? I'm only 16 soon to be 17 you deserve to be with someone your own age Ronnie".

"But I love you Ashanti when your parents introduce me to you I felt a connection between us, how about I take you out tonight before I leave tomorrow morning".

"I would love to but I'm going to this party with my friends, maybe next time" I say hoping he would understand.

"Please baby I'm only here for one night, I just want to spend time with you".

"Look when I come back from the party we can do something okay, now excuse me I have to get ready for tonight".

We both got up and he gave me a hug and said thank you, for what? I don't know but I'm not coming home just to hang out with him.

I went upstairs and took a shower lotion up and start getting dress, Tiff text me to let me know she was coming to pick me up. I text her my address then I started to flat iron my hair then apply some makeup to my face, I hope this party goes well.

I text Ashanti and told her I was coming to pick her up.

I text Jaminse as well to make sure she was getting ready, I can't wait to see Kid fine self. Hopefully don't nothing go down tonight I just want to enjoy myself.
