Chpt.1 You're A Princess?

"Well that's all of my things, I'll put everything up later but for as of right now I'm going to hit the shower and sleep" I tell my mom and dad while they was putting up things in the kitchen.

"Okay sweety, gone and get some rest you have school in the morning" my momma said.

I gave both of them a kiss and was headed upstairs.

By the way my name is Ashanti Lodaz, I'm 16 years old and I am also a Princess of Puerto.

Both of my parents are king and queen but for whatever reason we had to move here in Atlanta. Which I'm starting school tomorrow, hopefully it'll go by smooth.

Next Day...

I woke up did my hygiene put on my clothes and headed downstairs to see my mom drinking coffee.

"Good morning ma" I went over to kiss her cheek

"Good morning baby today is the day first day of school, by the way Clark will be going with you to school".

"No ma I love Clark and all but I'm a big girl I can go by myself".

"No Ashanti Clark is going so gone ahead to school he's waiting for you outside".

I grab my bookbag and was out the door, Clark is my bodyguard. Back in Puerto Rico he went wherever I went I guess to make sure nobody don't bother me, but I can handle myself.

I hop in the back of the Rose Royce to be greeted by Clark.

"Morning Princess Ashanti, ready for the first day of school"? He ask me.

"Yeah but it would be better if I went alone" I mumble to myself.

"I guess so" I tell him.

"You knw Clark you really don't have to be here you can go and I'll call you to come back to get me".

"Now Princess Ashanti you know your parents would go off if they find out I left you".

"They don't have to know".

"Nope I'm staying".

I roll my eyes and went into the office to get my schedule, I walk back out to see this good looking guy who was light skin, with tats, and curly hair that was cut low.

He was cute to me, just as I was about to introduce myself Clark pull me away from him.

"Come on Clark I'm not a little girl I can handle myself".

"Look Princess Ashanti if something happens to you I'm the one for the blame".

As soon as we get home Ima have to speak with my parents about letting me be independent.

The bell rung meaning it was time to head to first block, I went to my English class and seen the same guy from earlier.

Thank God Clark was waiting outside of the classroom, The boy came and sat right next to me this is my chance to introduce myself.

I seen this girl which I guess she was new never seen her around here before, she was about to approach me when this dude dress in all black grab her.

Shawty is bad but she seems different, I went on to first block and seen that same girl from this morning.

I went and sat by her and she look at me and smile.

"Hi my name is Ashanti I'm new here" she say while holding her hand out waiting for me to shake it.

"What's up my name is August" I gave her a head nod.
