Chapter 9: GENERAL

"Kath, Ok ka lang? Kanina ka pa matamlay" nagaalala si Kiara, kaklase ko rin siya ngayon. Siya si Kiara Magno at kasama rin siya sa top at mahilig rin siya sa music. Minsan, ang tawag ko sa kanya ay Kia as her nickname. "Ah.. Ok lang, marami lang akong iniisip, san na ba tayo sa report natin?" nasa White Hostel ako ngayon kasama si Kiara para sa summarized history report namin about World War II. 

Bigla na lang tumunog ang fire alarm, napatigil tuloy kami ni Kia sa report namin. "Hala! Ano ba yan, ang layo pa nga natin eh!" ani Kia at binaba ang libro na hawak, "Looks like postponed tayo for now. Tara, bumaba na tayo" sagot ko naman sa kanya at lumabas kami ng room nasulyapan ko sina Loki and Lorelei na nakasandal sa pader just a few doors away from us. They must be creating chaos to expose the serial blackmailer a.k.a Charles Meliton; he lives here too. I know a plan when I see on, I'm sure this was Loki's idea to start the fire alarm. Just like what he always says, there is always opportunity in chaos. Classic Loki. 

Jasmine and I weren't able to finish our report so we have decided to do it separately, she'll the first half and me the second half. Dahil dito, late na late akong natulog, dahil sa sorbang late, kung ano-ano ng pumapasok sa isip ko. Bigla na lang sumagi sa isip ko, just a random thought, dahil sobrang focused ako sa M cases, what if.. what if Luthor was a part of Moriarty's organization? It might seem crazy and absurb at first but it is most likely a possibility. Not that I'm sure and I'm no mind reader but its just a thought, a hunch, an idea, a possibility. For one, Luthor is the vice president but he's more than than, he is the student council. Em is just a front while he is really the one who commands and takes charge of the whole school. If my theory is correct, Moriarty doesn't work alone cause I know he also needs help, so he has his trusted people the their footmen or the ones who do their dirty work. Going back to Luthor, he represents a perfect manipulator. He's cunning, undetected, utterly brilliant, and not to mention very practical and logical. He can be a good use to M and his gang. Moriarty would need high ranking officials or people whom he can trust. But what could Luthor's motive be if he is a part of that organization? I could think of a few possibilities but two stands out. One, he joined to protect Loki, hI know he loves his brother, just not in the most.. obvious way but he loves him. This brings me back to our junior high and elementary days when Loki and Luthor were still interacting back then. Second, if he wants to take them down as well, he gained Moriarty's trust to invade his inner sanctum and gather privy information. Damn! Am I on fire tonight! I trust Luthor can't and won't join them because he's evil but he wants to protect his younger brother and take down M as well. Now all I need is to investigate and confront him later on if I'm correct. If my deductions are spot on, I'll organize a team up with him as my inside help. This game is more than just a game anymore and its getting really dangerous, I'm gonna need all the help I could get. Yes, this would do nicely. 

For now, back to bed. Nakakapagod rin magisip.

I've heard that Luthor has schemed a small abduction play for Lorelei a few days ago. He probably wanted to take her out of Loki's zone, considering what happened to Loki's late partner, he's protecting Lorelei from what would become a threat if she is still around Louis. 

I have decided to call Luthor, "Lucian, I was just wondering if you can talk to Lorelei and convince her to leave the QED club" I told him directly. If your asking why I'm doing this if I'm the one who has waged her for a bet that she'd be joining the club is because I want to find out if she'll stay by Loki's side no matter what, even if her life depends on it. I want to test her loyalty and decision, I just can't have people who'll bail on us in a matter of life or death situation, can't we?
