Chapter 20: THE VISIT OF O.S.D.A

Buong mag-araw, hindi ako pinansin ni Jake. Parang di ako nageexist s apaningin niya. Ok! Bahala ka diyan!!

Pagdating ko sa bahay, may three day trip sina daddy and mommy na sinama nila sina Gray and kuya since their gonna take martial arts lessons. Kuya's gonna try to succeed with his fourth black belt while Gray is still in his yellow belt. At ako? magisa ako ngayon sa bahay. 

Tungkol nga pala kay Moriarty, balik incognito na naman ako pero at least alam na ng QED club na parte na ako sa kanila. And I hope that Loki won't tell my identity if worst comes to worst. Luthor still send me some updates from M but none are not as useful as before since I've kinda cracked his case. I think M is lying low for now. Wala rin kasing nangyayareng kababalaghan sa school, which is a really good things. 

Its already close to 9pm, I have decided to have a snack. While I was eating, I heard the doorbell ring. Who in the world would come to our house at this time of hour at night? Lumabas ako at nagulat ako ng makita kung sino ang nakatyo doon na mukang guilty na guilty. Jake Marquez. 

"Kathrine, do you mind letting me in?" he asked. 

"Teka, magisa lang ako dito" at napangiti siya, "Much better" he replied and came inside anyway. I locked the gate behind me and went inside. "What are you doing here?" I asked him, he sighed, "I came here to see you. I want to apologize because I ceompletely ignored you earlier. I was acting childish and selfish. I'm sorry" he apologized and hugged me from my back. 

"It was a natural response, since I know why" mahina kong tugon at ngumisi. But, I was just messing with him. 

"Di ka ba uuwi?" tanong ko sa kanya, "Naah. Sa dorm lang naman na ako tumitira. Dito muna ako" sabi niya, "Tara, star gazing tayo" dagdag pa niya at hinila ako palabas. Kumuha muna ako ng blanket at linapag sa ground. "Kitty.. I have something to ask you" tumingin ako sa kanya at mukang seryoso siya sa tanong niya, "Ano yun?" tanong ko sa kanya. "Paano mo nalaman yung tungkol kay Black Cat? Diba last time tinanong mo sakin yun?" Oh no! His curiosity  is going to kill him!! Stop it Jake, baka may masabi pa ako sayo na hindi dapat eh! "Internet. Its easy to conduct a research once you knwo the right key words" That was of course a lie. Hindi mahahanap sa google or ano mang website ang tungkol sa agency at sa mga agents nito. I hope he would buy it. 

"Did you hack it?" he asked, makikisabay na nga lang ako sa trip niya. "Yeah" maiksi kong sagot. 

Truth be told, I wanna see Black Cat now, I wanna confess to him already. I'm no coward so I wanna let all these feelings out already. Ayoko na patagalin ang pagdurusa niya dahil sa iniisip niya na hindi niya makukuha ang babae na matagal na niyang sinusuyo. 

I know that he's somewhere out there but our identities must remain a secret. And this year is taking longer than any year. Tsk. "Oh.. ang lalim na ng iniisip mo. Baka gusto mo naman mag-share" panunudyo nito, "Wala yun.. ikaw na lang kaya mag-share" alo ko s akanya at umupo siya sa tabi ko at inakbayan ako, "Uhm.. Do you wanna know about that girl I love?" he asked, sige, gusto ko malaman kung sino ba siya at kung madeduce ko kung sino yan. "Ok" maiksi kong sagot.

"Truth is.. I really don't know her. Sure, we trust each other and we work together but other than that, I don't know her. Everytime I try to make her fall for me, she shoot sme down and tells me that she has fallen for someone else and she doesn't want to hurt my feelings because I'm just a friend. Just. A friend" he narrated and sighed. He sounds so brokenhearted. 

Teka lang, bakit parang narinig ko na ang mga kataga na mga sinabi niya? Diba yan rin yung sinasabi ko kay Black Cat? Hindi ba iyan ang nararamdaman niya? It.. can't be him. Can it? I'm sure its just coincidence. Di lang naman ako ang babae na nagsasabi niyan sa mundo eh. "Ui, di ka na nagsalit diyan" back to Earth Kath!! "Nothing. I just feel sad for you dahil hindi siya nagwowork-out para sayo" sabi ko sa kanya at pilit na ngumiti. Ewan ko kung bakit pero parang parehas pa rin yung feelings ko para Jake maski sinabi ko dati na si Black Cat na.
