Book 1 Part 3

Fuzzy Demon

~~~~
The sun was harsh as it poured in my room. The colored glass shined a rainbow effect in the window. The colors created an effect that made waking up.. Tolerable... I had tried to sit up multiple times but honesty, I just wanted to stay in bed forever. It was warm and cozy and nothing could ever break me away from this pure feeling of....
Annoyance.
"Pabu!"
Do not get me wrong. I love the fuzzy red creature with all of my heart. Pabu is a baby! A Baby who needs to stop knocking over the stuff on my dresser!
"Pabu no! Down! Stop that!" I begrudgingly got out of bed as I practically ran over to the screeching adorable demon. I scooped him up, along with the small jewelry box I kept on the dresser near my mirror. Luckily it was still intact. Nothing was broken or missing. A few bits of jewelry had fallen out of the box and I sighed as I knelt down to pick up the scattered pieces. I placed most of them back on the desk, my grip lingering on my eldest piece. The old bronze necklace with the three blue stones sat delicately in my hand. Running my fingers across the faded and unkempt engravings I couldn't stop my mind from wandering to the past.
Memories I would much rather forget.
I placed it back into the box before turning to the fuzzy demon that was jumping on my bed. "Pabu I love you, but must you do this every time? I will start locking you out with the boys!" The squeal of disdain that came out of the tiny body was almost enough for me to forgive him fully.
"If you wanna keep sleeping in the window box, you need to behave buddy. Can you do that?" He squealed as he very aggressively began to lick my hair.. Such a strange baby..
As revenge I began to squish him in a hug as I kissed the top of his tiny head till he started to wiggle away and squeal in anger. He eventually got out of my grasp as he ran down the stairs, probably to tell on me even though he is the one who did the bad thing.
I looked at the clock.  You have got to be kidding me! It is Saturday, people! 9:30.. On a Saturday. Pabu I don't care that you are baby.. I am so giving you less treats today! I groaned and sat back on my bead. There is no going back to sleep now.. I might as well get up. I got dressed and ready before heading downstairs.. On the hunt for a specific fire ferret..
Spirits please give me the strength not to throw something out a window.. Preferably myself?
As I went downstairs to the living room I saw Bolin holding up Pabu like a doll. "Look at him you can't say no to that face." Mako looked done with life and Fae looked greatly amused but still confused. Once the fire ferret saw me he began to squirm and screech.
"I can say no to that face. Pabu.. no Tuna Shrimp tonight for you." The fire ferret cried a soft sad mew and I tried to keep my act together.. It was hard. But the clock above the couch made it reaaaal easy. I started walking over to the dynamic duo as Bolin kept holding him... "Bolin... do not.. Let him go..."
Pabu looked at me and then Bolin with a pleasing look. I swear if he lets him go....
"Sorry (Y/n)! Bro's before hoes! RUN FREE PABU!" NO! He let the fuzzy demon go and it ran all the way to the top of the bookcase.. That I cannot reach. I wanna kill them both really badly. I looked to Mako who just shrugged and pulled his scarf over his face in an attempt to get more sleep. Oh hell nooo.
