Suzanne smiled in her sleep as she turned on her single bed.

Suddenly she heard a noise, like the one an alarm clock would make. With her eyes closed she felt the top of her bedside table for her alarm clock. She wanted to put it off.

She frowned slightly when the space was vacant.

Right, it hasn't been replaced yet. She thought tiredly and kept her pillow over her ears.

The noise grew louder.

"What the heck is that?!" she groaned as she sat up in bed, highly annoyed.

It was dark in her room but she knew she wasn't alone in the room. Two figures were standing by her door, she could see part of their shadows.

She frowned and flickered on her lamp.

She saw that the annoying noise was coming from a device Andrew held in his right hand.

His eyes were trained on her, he was fully dressed. Beside him was her brother still in his pajamas.

"Get up Suzanne," Andrew said boredly.

"Man I need that thing. Waking Suzanne every morning is annoying to me but if I have that stuff it's really easy," Shane said with a laugh.

Suzanne sat up on her bed and glared at the both of them. Her lower half body was covered by the quilt.

"Why are you here Andrew?!" she demanded annoyed.

She hated the way he woke her up. She hated people interferring with her sleep generally.

"Get dressed Suzanne, you have just five minutes then I'm coming back to drag you out of your room. We're training," Andrew informed her curtly and left the room.

Shane followed him asking for a device that can help him play a prank on his arc-rival, William.

Suzanne looked at her door in disbelief.

She went to her window and pulled open the curtains. It was still dark outside and the wind was chilly.

She glanced at the wall clock that hung in her room.

Her left eye twiched.

"YOU IDIOTIC ANDREW! IT'S JUST THIRTY-TWO MINUTES PAST FOUR IN THE MORNING!!!!" she yelled highly pissed.

Suddenly her door was thrown open.

Her dad stood at the entrance and he didn't look very pleased.

She meekly took a step back.

"Stop shouting, it's too early for that," he told her with a frown.

"Sorry, sorry..." She bowed, feeling apologetic.

"What seems to be the problem anyway?" Her dad went on to ask, he had his arms crossed.

He always woke up around four o' clock to do some work in his study so it was no news he didn't look sleepy at all.

"Um..." Suzanne scratched her hair.

If I tell Dad that Andrew wants me to train this early, I'll be the one to get a scolding for being lazy. She thought.

"Well?" her dad demanded impatiently.

Suzanne closed her eyes and chuckled nervously.

"Actually, um....a spider...ran across my leg..and I felt..frightened," she finished lamely.

Her dad threw her a skeptical look.

It was obvious he didn't believe her but thankfully as his study was far from Suzanne's room he couldn't have made out the words she said.
