"CIN really left us here?!" Suzanne shrieked, horrified.
"No, we thought he left us in our cozy bedrooms and he went back to bring us breakfast in bed," Ryan snorted.
"You better shut up now!" Suzanne snapped at him.
"Or what?" He scoffed.
Suzanne's nostrils flared.
Some minutes later he was yelling that she should let go of his ear that she was twisting around.
"That's enough," Andrew bored voice made Suzanne let him go.
Ethan smiled snidely at Ryan who was rubbing his ear painfully.
"I suggest we just follow the path!" Ethan said.
Andrew who had bent down, stood straight. "No. That's useless. I was awake while CIN was driving. There's too many turns and we can get lost," he told Ethan.
"What now?" Suzanne moaned.
Ashley glanced at her wristwatch.
"It's some minutes past two O' clock," she said. "I don't think we can make it even if we start trekking now. And it'll be night soon and wild animals roam around. We could be eaten."
"I wanna go home!" Suzanne wailed.
Ethan snorted, "Crybaby."
"What was that?!" She turned to glare at him.
Andrew looked thoughtful.
"Ashley's right," Andrew started and they all looked at him. "We'll need food, shelter, water, medicine and protection."
"What's your plan?" Ryan asked Andrew.
"We have to survive. As it is, we only have the clothes on our backs. We can't stand the cold wind in the night, we'll die of hypothermia. If the cold doesn't kill us our hunger might or perhaps a wild animal. And our devices have no way of being recharged so our protection is very limited," Andrew went on as they all listened to him.
"What do you suggest?" Ashley asked.
"Here's the plan, we'll built a strong shelter here and also we'll booby trap this whole area to keep the wild animals away. We can never trek to Superhero High. I hope there's a river somewhere, because all rivers lead to the ocean. And once we've identified the ocean we can easily find civilization and hence a means of transportation to Superhero High. And the main ocean in these parts is Mid-Vib ocean," Andrew paused.
"And that ocean leads to the main headquarters of Hero League and from there it's just a three days journey to our school," Andrew said.
"Nice plan!" Suzanne nodded at him.
He looked smug. "I'm quite the planner afterall," he added.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," Ryan rolled his eyes. "What now?"
Andrew became serious again.
"We'll need to split up and work on different things because nightfall is coming soon and we'll need everything before then," he stated.
"Suzanne, you build the shelter, Ashley find us medicines. Ryan, you'll handle the protection while Ethan would get us food. I'll find the water," Andrew divided the labour between the five of them.
"Don't go too far you all and you'll need this," Andrew dropped a red small device into each of their palms.
"What's this?!" Ethan asked, looking at the queer looking device.
"If you find out you're lost just toss that in the air, it would explode and everyone would be alerted to your whereabouts," Andrew instructed them.
