The next day, Liang Kun Lan greeted the people at the Lu household. Lu Hu An saw his cheerful appearance and sigh, while Qiu Weiyuan smiled softly. Lu Ying Yue bid them farewell and before she could go back inside.
Liang Kun Lan shouted "Older Sister Ying, I'll look after your brothers. I'll make sure that Qiu Weiyuan comes home dry unlike someone we know" Lu Ying Yue laughed and the people inside the house heard his statement and shook their heads grinning. Lu Hu An scowled and slapped the back of Liang Kun Lan's head, who smiled sheepishly.
Lu Yung Yue went back inside the house and did some embroidering. Jiao Jing was at the corner making some clothes for everyone, while teaching Chunhua at the same time. Lu Zhi Yan went to the rabbits outside, while Ling Cheung was sipping tea.
At the quiet environment, a scream was soon heard. Lu Ying Yue stood up abruptly and so did the others. They ran outside and saw Lu Zhi Yan at the ground crying, and two men standing at their gate grinning.
Qiu Chunhua quickly approached Lu Zhi Yan and carried her, Lu Ying Yue looked at the men "Aunt Jing, please bring Xiao Yan inside and don't come out" Jiao Jing immediately took the crying girl into her arms and went inside.
Ling Cheung measured the men up and down and stood in front of Lu Ying Yue. He thought that this must be the man that Qiu Weiyuan was talking about yesterday. Lu Ying Yue whispered to Qiu Chunhua "go use the back door. Inform Hu An and your brother" Qiu Chunhua nodded and left quietly.
"What do you need?" Ling Cheung asked the men. "I think you need a Master in this household and besides the woman behind you, looks beautiful and smells good" the man who is a bit shorter replied. The taller man with a half-covered face stood quietly.
"It seems like sending your wife to jail isn't enough, Mr. Xiu '' Lu Ying Yue raised her eyebrow and spoke coldly. The taller man stiffened and removed the clothe that was covering his face and clenched his jaw.
Mr. Xiu usually just lay around their home and when drunk he harassed people in the town. The man beside him is his younger brother Xiu Ning who belongs to a neighboring village. Just like his brother, he doesn't have a good reputation and no family wants their daughter to marry such a man.
Xiu Ning heard what this woman did to his sister-in-law. He thought that Lu Ying Yue is a timid person who shy behind someone. He took a step forward and was about to touch Lu Ying Yue when Ling Cheung pushed him. His body was thrown away and hit the tree on the opposite end. Mr. Xiu saw what happened to his brother and raised his fist, Ling Cheung grabbed a hold of his fist and slammed his fist on Mr. Xiu's face using the other arm.
Li Huian and Xiang Zihao were on their way to town, when a person was thrown away from Lu Ying Yue's home. They stopped when they also heard a scream, Li Huian dragged his arm to check, when they saw a man kneeling in front of Ling Cheung who was holding his fist.
