Xiang Zihao gulped and said "Not everyone from the Black Shadow was part of that plan. That commander has been brutally killed by one of the leaders, the whole organization didn't know anything about the plan. We later found out about what happened and wanted to clarify things but we couldn't find you. One thing you didn't know is that your ancestor was one of the founders of the organization. Your father retired as one of the commanders when he met your mother."

Everyone around them could sense the tense atmosphere around. Lu Ying Yue stared at them and said "Chang Min, I won't stop you if you still want to kill Brother Zihao. But don't forget what grandfather taught you. I'm not telling you to forget the past, what I meant to say is that you should learn something from it, so that you won't make the same mistake. Besides Brother Zihao is one of the guards of the Supreme General Qin Zhang Wei"

Chang Min bowed his head and took a deep breath "I apologize for my actions. I found out the truth a long time ago, I don't blame you but I hated you for not telling me when I saved you"

Everyone became stiff when they heard a slight noise. Lu Ying Yue sighed and looked at her brother "Hu An, Yuan go inside and stay with Xiao Yan and Chunhua" Lu Hu An was about to decline, when Qiu Weiyuan grab his shoulder and nodded at him. He pursed his lips and went inside.

"Go and release your anger" Ling Cheung stated. Xiang Zihao and Li Huian stared at him questioningly when Ling Cheng just nodded at them. Chang Min and his men smirked and left.

Xiang Zihao nodded his head in understanding. He hold the hand of his wife and said "then we will be leaving now" Lu Ying Yue and Ling Cheung bid them farewell and wished them to have a safe journey.

Back at the Capital, the streets leading to the palace were crowded. they receive the news about the victorious battle at the west border. They celebrated and thanked the General and his men. The Emperor and the other princes also congratulated him and awarded him with ten cases of gold, three cases of rare spices, and a two weeks off.

Afterwards Qin Zhang Wei came back to the Qin Manor. Mrs. Qin along with her husband and Father-in-law was waiting outside of their manor to wait for Qin Zhang Wei's arrival. When he arrived in front of their gate, there were a lot of people who wanted to see the General and they all congratulated him for his victory.

In the afternoon, the General household received a letter from the Emperor to meet him at his study. They all soon got ready and proceed to the palace. When they arrived Eunuch Meng escorted them to the Emperor's study. Inside the room Qian Yi Zian along with Qian Li Jun were waiting for them.

Qin Zhang Wei looked at the Qian Li Jun and nodded his head. The men saw their exchange and looked confuse, Qian Li Jun smirked and informed everyone in the room about what happened in the South.
