After the commotion, Lu Zhi Yan who was gripping her sister's dress, saw a couple carrying some animals "Ying jie jie look a rabbit" the older siblings heard this and looked around. Lu Zhi Yan blushed when she realized that the woman heard her and smiled.
The couple walked in front of the gate when they heard Lu Ying Yue "Are you selling those animals? ". The woman nodded and approached Lu Hu An who went out of their gate.
"How much is this?" Lu Hu An asked as the woman holding the rabbit approached them. "The small rabbit cost eight coppers and the big ones cost seventeen coppers" the woman replied "we'll take two small and two big rabbits" Lu Ying Yue said.
The woman nodded "fifty coppers" Lu Ying Yue smiled and said "Please wait for a while, let me go back to get some money" after saying that she turned around and went into their house. After a while She went out and handed over the coins.
After receiving the copper coins, the woman turned around but stopped on her tracks when Lu Ying Yue introduce herself. "I'm Lu Ying Yue, this is my Younger brother Lu Hu An, and my younger sister Lu Zhi Yan". The woman smiled and bowed and introduced themselves "My name's Li Huian and that's my husband Xiang Zihao" the man bowed, and the couple bid their goodbye.
Lu Ying Yue turned around and headed back inside bringing one small rabbit with her "Hu An, we should build a place for the other rabbits" Lu Hu An nodded and put the rabbits in the wooden box, before telling Lu Zhi Yan to keep an eye on the rabbits. Lu Hu An went to the corner and start building a wooden cage.
Lu Ying Yue decided to cook rabbit stew with vegetables for their lunch. She went out into their small vegetable field with a small hoe, knife, and wooden basket with her.
After picking some vegetables from the field, she saw Lu Hu An building a cage and Lu Zhi Yan tying a small ribbon on the smaller rabbit, while keeping an eye on the rest.
When she was about to go to the kitchen, she saw the older sister of Liang Kun Lan, passing by. "Sister Ying, I heard what happened earlier with Mrs. Xiu. You better watch out; she will do everything to tie Hu An with Fengfang. She did that with Kun Lan before, she even spread some rumors, but mother got really mad and informed the elders" Liang Huifang warned Lu Ying Yue, Lu Hu An looked at his older sister.
"Thank you for the warning sister Huifang" Lu Ying Yue smiled and nodded "Okay, tell me if you need help handling that woman, Mother and I will help you" Liang Huifang winked and left.
Lu Ying Yue took a deep breath and looked at Lu Hu An who avoided her look and went back inside. Lu Hu An covered the bottom of the cage with hay and grass, afterwards he went to the wooden box and transferred the rabbits.
When Li Huian introduced themselves, she felt that the Lu siblings looked familiar, especially Lu Ying Yue. Li Huian looked at Xiang Zihao who walked beside her "Zihao, have we met them before? They look so familiar to me especially Lu Ying Yue and Lu Zhi Yan"
Xiang Zihao raised his eyebrows and with a deep voice "En, only that Lu Hu An looks familiar to me like I've seen him around before" Li Huian who heard this pursed her lips and said "should we--"
Xiang Zihao shook his head "No, just be careful and I think that they mean no harm" Li Huian nodded. They both continue their way to the town to sell the remaining animals they caught.
