Part 10

Nandini after giving blood came out with the help of a nurse till the ward door. Later the nurse left her and went inside the icu back. Seeing nandini weak fab4 runs towards her. Manik and mukti hold her on both the side and make her sit on a chair.
Manik: Why did you not inform any of us that you are donating blood.
Nandini: I wanted to but then all of you were busy and will not listen to me so I went inside to give blood coz that was more important than  arguing.
Mukti: Thank you nandini thank you so much  I mean you could have easily went away even after seeing cabir like that but not only did you help manik but also brought him to this hospital and made sure you friend only treated cabir also now you gave blood. Thank you once again.
Dhruv: True nandini thank you.
Nandini: it's ok guys it's no big deal. I just helped that's all. And stop saying thank you so many times.
Meanwhile a nurse comes with pomegranate juice.
Nurse:Maam here this one is for you. Dr.vinod asked me to give this to you.
Nandini:Thank you. Tell him I'll drink in sometime.
Nurse: I'm sorry maam but sir asked me to make sure that you finished this glass only then I'm supposed to leave from here.
Nandini sighs and drinks the juice and nurse leaves the place after making sure she drank the full glass.
In the mean time chachi calls nandini as it is past midnight.
Chachi:Nandu where are you beta. Is everything ok. You are never late. And it's already 12:30 and still you did not come .
Nandini:Chachi actually I'm at the hospital.
Chachi:what nandu are you fine. What happened why are you in the hospital.  Please answer na. Why are you so quite.
Nandini:Chachi only if you stop I'll answer na chachi.  Dont worry I'm fine actually cabir met with an accident so he is being treated so I'm here
Chachi: What who is this cabir nandu.
Nandini: cabir is Manik's  best friend or shall I say family chachi so I'll come a bit late. You dont worry you sleep. I have the house keys.
Chachi: What. Can you give the phone to manik.
Nandini:Why should I give.
Chachi: nandu give the phone to my sona munda na.
Nandini: Manik chachi wants to talk to you she is on line
Manik:Hello chachi.
Chachi:Mera sona munda. Dont worry cabir will be fine ok. Did you have your dinner.
Manik: Yes chachi v had.
Chachi:Ok chalo I'll cut the call. If you need anything tell me ok I'll being breakfast if you need it.
Manik: No no chachi it's not needed. We are fine.
Chachi: Ok I'll not bring anything but I'll go to temple tomorrow and perform pooja for the betterment of cabir. He will be fine you dont worry ok. Chalo bye. Take care of yourself beta.
Manik after talking to chachi gives the phone back to nandini.
Alya:How does nandini's chachi know you. And how come she is so friendly with you manik.
Manik: Abbb.bb
Nandini: Actually when o was his spot I disobeyed him once so he directly came home to punish me. But there was chachi. And seeing manik coming home and asking for me chachi thought him to be my friend and when chachi asked him he said yes coz he wanted to  irritate me.
Mukti:Alya let it go all these is not that important now.

After 1 and 1/2 hours later. That is 2 o clock.

In this 1 and 1/2 hour nurse brought the pomegranate juice 5 times. And nani is I was visibly very pissed at the moment.
Mukti and manik where fondong it funny where as alya felt irritated seeing the treatment that she is getting.
Nurse again comes with the juice.
Nandini:No no more juice I swear I'll kill your doctor if he comes in front of me. Yuk ou can leave I'll deal with him later. For now leave this place before I blast on you.
Nurse gets scared seeing nandini and she runs away. Finally khanna comes out of the icu to give them the information about Cabir's health.
Everybody run towards dr. Khanna
Manik: Doctor how is he. Is there any complications.
Khanna: Relax guys no. Everything is fine. I'll shift him to private ward in half and hour till then you can't see him. Dont worry nothing major. It's just his had and his leg is fractured and the stab has been treated. Thank God that the wound was not too deep. And nandini why have you not drunk the juice yet. The nurse informed me that you threatened her it seems. Now drink dont threaten me I'm not scared of you.
Hearing khanna asking her to drink the juice nandini' s patience breaks she holds the glass tightly and comes towards him.
Nandini:thank you vinod for manik sure that cabir is fine. And now sorry but I'm not sorry for what im going to o.
Khanna: what are you going to do. Nothing .
Nandini then pours the juice on Khanna's head.
Nandini:I told you not to ask me to drink anymore juice. Now you only drink .
Fab4 and the hospital staff are stunned seeing nandini pouring the juice on his head.
Khanna: Aghhhh I hate you nandu.
Nandini:Hello I hate you too now get lost.you stink bro. Yuck.
Vinod khanna leaves to his cabin do that he could get dressed again after taking bath.
Nandini turns her head and sees fab4 seeing her as if she is an alien.
Nandini:Guys close you mouth. And what is with this expression.
Manik: Did you just pour a glass of juice on doctors head.
Nandini: Hello before he is a doctor he is my friend and he was irritating me to  drink that stupid juice so  many times so I just couldn't control myself. Anyway leave all that see cabir is coming.
All of them turn towards the icu and see cabir sleeping on the stretcher and coming.
Nurse: Sir just 5 mins I'll shift him to the ward then you can talk to him and meet him.
Cabir is now in a private ward. Fab4 and nandini come inside the ward and sir on the couch and chair and wait for cabir to gain consciousness.  Fab4 sit together and talk within themselves and nandini did not want to disturb them so she takes her chair and places it in a corner of the room and start doing something with her phone.
After sometime fab4 realizes that they are ignoring nandini so they lift their heads and see her engrossed in her phone.
Dhruv:Nandini nandini
Nandini doesn't hear dhruv calling her as she was very much into her phone.
Seeing this manik takes his phone and calls nandini. Nandini seeing manik calling her frowns and lifts her head up and see all of them staring at her.
Nandini: What why are you staring at me like that. And manik why did you call me on my phone when I was right here. You could have just called me.
Dhruv:Nandini actually I called you but you did not respond so buddy had to call you on your phone. Dont mind and please both of you again dont start you fight.
Nandini: oh sorry dhruv i was playing game in my phone and I lost coz of the phone call. And dhruv I dont pick up fights. Its your friend who does that. Anyway I'm no ot in a mood of fighting today so some other day.
While they were talking cabir opens his eyes and sees here and there to know where he is actually.  Then he sees nandini and fab4 chatting with each other. Removing his oxygen mask cabir calls.
Cabir: Manik..... he slowly whispers.
Nandini hears somebody calling Manik's name. And turns and looks at cabir awake.
Nandini:Cabir.
Hearning nandini call cabir name everybody turn and look at him. Seeing him awake fab4 goes towards his bed. In the mean time nandini calls vinod and tells him that cabir is awake.
Mukti: Cabir how are you is it painting anywhere.
Dhruv:what is this stupid question mukti its obvious that he is in pain.
Cabir:Guys relax I'm fine. Yes my hand leg and stomach hurts but it's ok its bearable.
Meanwhile doctor come inside the ward. Seeing the doctor all of them give him space so that he checks him.
Vinod after thoroughly checking cabir tells them that there is nothing to worry and writes down some medicines.
Nandini: vinod can I see the prescription please.
Vinod:Sure what is there to ask about it nandu.
Nandini sees the prescription
Nandini:khanna why have you given these to him. Why did you not give him xyz medicines.
Khanna:Murthy that's coz it's very high dose. And let him heal slowly only no  problem.
Nandini:khanna no I dont want him to heal slowly I want him back to normal as soon as possible.  I know he has a broken arm and a broken leg. But I want it to heal as soon as possible so change his medicines.
Khanna:Are you sure nandu. He might experience pain as well .
Nandini: I'm sure I know these medicines coz a bit of pain but it's better than lying on bed for months. No way can I let that happen. So change it.
Khanna:Fine of that is what you want let me change his medicines.
Cabir the medicines that I prescribed now are a bit painful and they are of heavy dosage and you might feel sleepy as well. But just bear a bit of pain then you will be back to normal in no time.
Cabir: sure doctor and thank you.

Nandini though wanted to stay there for some more time but she did not want to interfere with Fab5
Nandini: Cabir get well soon. And take care of u feel any discomfort then please call vinod. And bye guys it's quite late I'll leave.
Cabir: Thabk you nandini for staying for so long. But how are you planning to go home at this hour in the night.
Nandini: Its ok cabir ill take a taxi. You take rest.
Cabir: Bullshit manik since your driver is here please ask him to drop nandini home. I know you dont want to but please for me its no ot safe for girls to roam around in Mumbai at this time. And she helped me also can you please do this one for me.
Manik: Fine I'll tell the driver. And anyway come I'll show you my driver and guys I'll bring the medicines while coming all of you stay together and cabir take rest man.
Manik and nandini reach the parking lot and before calling his driver manik hugs nandini tightly.
Nandini:manik it's ok dont worry nothing will happen to cabir see he is safe now. And in few days only he will be back like the old cabir. Now you dont stress hi kurself and spoil you health ok.
Manik: Thabk you nandini for what all you did today. And you also take plenty of rest you also lost blood today I sont want any excuses is that clear.
Nandini: Yes boss. Ok call your driver na. All you friends will be wondering where did you go for so long.
Manik calls the driver and asks him to drop nandini home. He goes to pharmacy in the hospital and goes and buys the medicines . He is shocked seeing the price of the medicines that is prescribed to cabir. Though he doesn't care about the money.
