Xavier's P.O.V:
Here we go. I have no idea what she has planned but at this point I'm willing to do anything. I know this doesn't seem right and it's probably not but I can't see him hurt her. Not like the rest of them.
Currently, I'm waiting for my best friend to hurry up so we can get to school.
Speak of the devil. Cole slides into the passenger seat of my car and closes the door. Then turns and gives me a sideways look. "Did you dye your hair?" He's in a chipper mood this morning. That could only mean one of two things, either his twisted game has already started and I suspect that it has, or something equally as good has taken place. The first is more likely.
Now, back to his question. "Yeah, I did. So what? Everything about me is boring anyway." It's true, I've got brown eyes, boring brown hair. Why not change it?
That's besides the point. I've got a few questions of my own. "Why are you so happy this morning? Your game started already?" He gives me a look that says he can see my jealousy clear as day. "It's not a game anymore my friend. I think I've actually found one who's real. If that makes any sense. Honestly, I have no idea if anything I'm saying makes sense anymore. There's just something about her ya know?"
Just like that I feel guilty for the plan I'm about to unfold with Stacy.
Could he really be changing?
