~Y/N POV~
This conversation can go either surprisingly well, or disastrously wrong.
I don't know who out of my parents is going to be the one to have the worst reaction. My dads usually laid back but when it comes to me, his only daughter sometimes that can change and my mom is more open minded but on the plus side she loves Jimin.
But little does she know, Jimin is not the father of this baby.
Namjoon is.
But he's done a runner by the sounds of things.
I can't say I'm surprised anymore.
Anyway, gathering up the parents was easy enough and it was nerve racking once they were seated side by side on the couch looking up at me expectedly.
Jimin took my hand and pulled me down to sit beside him. I'm thankful he's here with me and I know Yoongi is here somewhere too as well as Jackson. The others were still trying to find Namjoon but I think I heard Yoongi say they're coming back tomorrow.
Pushing that thought to the side o tried to gather my thoughts about what I'm going to say first. But it's hard when my dad keeps squinting his eyes at me, trying to sus things out in his head.
"Okay what's going on? Why is Jimin here?" Dad
He pointed toward Jimin beside me and my mom gasped and back handed him across the chest.
"Don't be rude, he may be y/n's boyfriend but he's still a guest. So if you don't have anything nice to say, zip it." Mom
Dad rolled his eyes to her and turned his head away. But the frowned when he settled on something outside the living room through the doorway.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my house?" Dad
He stood up, ready for a fight but my mom grabbed his hand and pullled him back. Jimin stood up though and bent forward to see the person but then chuckled, shaking his head.
"My apologies, that's my friend, Yoongi." Jimin
"Y/n do you know this guy?" Dad
I nodded as dad pointed towards Yoongi who just entered the room, and politely bowed.
"I'm sorry about the intrusion, I did knock and the door was open." Yoongi
To be honest I was a little surprised by how politely spoke to my parents. My dad just huffed, waving him off but my mom scanned him head to toe and then leaned over her lap and whispered towards me, covering her mouth from Yoongi.
"This man is pretty good looking too." Mom
"HONEY!!!" Dad
Mom shrugged her shoulders and sat back next to my dad while he threw daggers at her.
"Please dear come in. Have a seat." Mom
"Are we inviting the whole fucking town into our living room now?" Dad
"Stop, mind your language around company." Mom
Yoongi bowed once more and came further into the living room and took the other seat beside me.
"Y/n can you put me out my misery here and just tell us what's going on?" Dad
I nodded and yet took a deep breath to calm my nerves, not that it worked but Jimin again took my hand and Yoongi shifted on his seat, turning most of his body to face me. I know he would want to hold my hand right now but that would only confuse my parents but to know he's here too helps.
"Just tell them." Jimin
He whispered in my ear to which I nodded, tucking some of my hair behind my ear and gulped down my nerves but no matter what I did it wouldn't help so I had no choice but to blurt it out.
"I'm pregnant."
Silence.
But I didn't dare look up at my parents. No way did I want to see the disappointment on their faces. That was until I heard my mothers soft sigh and that was when I looked up to see my mom, staring off in her own thoughts to the coffee table but my dad was glaring at the ceiling, clenching his jaw as well as biting on his lower lip.
"I should of known when you didn't ask about anymore pads like you do every month. I just thought you already had enough. I should of known." Mom
My dad just stood up and walk out the room without another word but his loud stomped through out the house all the way up the stairs and to his bedroom were obvious signs he was furious.
"What are your plans with this baby Y/n? To keep it or....?" Mom
"To keep it."
She nodded and rubbed her hands together coming to sit on the edge of the couch.
"Jimin I expect you'll be there to support my daughter yes?" Mom
Her deep frown and serious expression towards Jimin was surprising to see since that's the first time she's ever looked at him like that but Jimin didn't seem to mind. Only putting his arm around my shoulder and pulling me close to his side.
"I do ma'am. Every step of the way." Jimin
"And me too miss. I know we just met but Y/n's a good friend of mine so I would like to help support her too." Yoongi
"And Jackson. Him too." Jimin
The two nodded at each other and my mom hummed at herself, soothing a finger over her top lip before standing up.
"I better go check on your father but Y/n I would like to speak to you about this later okay? Woman to woman and all that, alright?" Mom
"Yes mom."
Nodding at me she walked out the living room and left the three of us there alone. At first no one spoke a word, just plain silence.
"Well that could of been worse. I thought her dad was going to punch me." Jimin
He giggled but Yoongi scoffed and slapped him across the back of the head after reaching around me to get to him.
"Way to go spoiling the silence like that Jimin. Well done." Yoongi
"Yah! What did I do?" Jimin
"Nothing but the silence was golden after what just happened." Yoongi
"You two bicker too much."
All eyes turned towards Jackson suddenly appearing on the opposite couch my parents once sat on, swinging over one leg over the other and stretching out his arms on the back.
"Yeah well get use to it. We're all going to be around each other for a very long time, so the jokes on you." Jimin
Jackson rolled his eyes but locked eyes with me, head tilt my way as if silently asking me if I was okay and I just nodded at him, a small smile on my face. I cant be too upset after what just happened. It would of been a lot worse and my parents just need time to adjust I guess.
Everything just has to move forward from here. It just has to.
