Chapter 2

*SKYES POV*

I woke up to the smell of bacon. I'm sorry but I have a weakness for bacon. I quickly got up and ran downstairs and saw who was cooking it. It was Sam. I ran up to him and hugged him from behind.

"Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! I love you!" I said just staring at the bacon cooking.

"Your welcome. And love ya too Skye." He said chuckling.

I sat and waited at the counter for about 5 more minutes and then he set breakfast down in front of me.

It was literally gone in like 1.5 minutes. Hahaha I can be a pig sometimes...oh well.

*1 hour later*

We had all finished our breakfast that Sam made including Mercedes.

"Hey, do you guys know what your gonna wear to the party tonight?" Asked Sam.

"Oh crap! I totally forgot!" I said.

"Do we need to go to the mall or...?" Asked Mercedes.

"Yeah. Leggoo." Sam said.

Then Mercedes groaned, she HATED the mall.

*At the Mall*

Sam went into some guy stores and me and Mercedes were looking in stores like Rue 21 or Hot Topic.

*20 minutes later*

"I found my outfit!" Mercedes said to me and opened the door.

She was wearing some dark skinny jeans with some black and blue converse and a dark blue pull over hoodie. Also it came with a black beanie, which she was wearing.

"OH MY GOSH! THAT IS SO CUTE!" I said.

"I know right!" She said.

"So. What did you pick out?" She asked me.

I had picked out a black baggy long sleeve with a red flannel around my waist. Some black skinny jeans and some black vans. Also with a black beanie.

I showed her and her mouth dropped open.

"That is so cute!" She said.

"Thanks." I said laughing.

A couple of minutes later we met up with Sam again and he had a white v-neck with a black leather jacket, black pants and some white vans.

We all had our outfits on already. The party was in a couple of hours anyways.

I looked at Sam and he was staring at me.

I laughed, "Can I help you?" I asked.

"You can clean up pretty well for a party." He said surprised.

"Thanks! You don't look to bad yourself." I said complimenting him back.

I turned to see what Mercedes was doing and she was...looking at something. More specifically a guy. And to be even MORE specific, it was Xavier. And old friend I used to skate with at the skate park. They kept smiling at each other. I couldn't stand it anymore.

"Hey Xavier!" I yelled and gestured of him to come over here.

He started walking over to us.

"Oh hey Skye! Whose this?" He said pointing to Mercedes.

"Oh yeah! Yeah this is my best friend Mercedes. Mercedes this is Xavier, an old friend I used to skate with at the skate park. And Xavier...this is Mercedes." I said.

They greeted each other and started talking some more and ignored me so I just walked over to Sam.

"Hey. I was meaning to give this to you." Sam said.
