GOT7's agency JYP Entertainment rep shared the bad news on GOT7's official fan club site on January 14, stating, "BamBam and Yugyeom ran into issues with their visa, making them unable to attend [the awards ceremony]." Meanwhile, the remaining 5 members of GOT7 (JB, Jr., Youngjae, Mark, and Jackson) are set to perform.

BTS' Jungkook was also reported to be having issues with his visa, making it possible that BTS will have to perform without him at the awards ceremony. For the time being, Jungkook has departed for Beijing with his members on the 14th, using a tourist visa. Their agency Big Hit Entertainment rep stated, "We are looking into the situation with the Chinese event organizers... The members, who will be able to perform, will be confirmed accordingly. [BTS] might have to perform not as 7, but as 6 members. We have faith that things will work out there."

It's also been revealed that 4 out of 6 members of B2ST are without a concert visa. However, all 6 members left for China on the 13th with the 4 members in question using a tourist visa with the possibility of them being able to perform on stage as a whole group still up in the air. B2ST's agency Cube Entertainment rep stated, "The 4 members have departed with a supplementary [tourist] visa. It seems the issue came about while renewing their passports... Although they have a [departure] permit for a cultural performance, we will have to look into whether they can perform on stage there."Unfortunately for fans, it has been reported that GOT7's BamBam and Yugyeom will be unable to attend 'The 29th Golden Disk Awards in Beijing' due to visa-related issues, and members of B2ST and BTS as well as Huh Gak might not be able to perform.
