You walked into the Great Hall and found your friends. The rest of the Gryffindors were getting used to seeing you at their table by now.

"How did you guys sleep?" You asked as you sat down opposite the golden trio.

"Bad." Harry mumbled, his mouth full of food.

"Alright, actually." Said Ron, his hair back to its normal colour.

"Pretty good, because unlike all of you, I drank responsibly." Hermione scoffed, swallowing her food.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." You rolled your eyes.

You finished your breakfast and began walking to your first class.

~

"Sorry about this morning." Draco said awkwardly as you sat down.

"Don't worry about it." You turned to look at him.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay." He said quietly.

"Oh. Yes, I'm fine." You replied awkwardly.

You didn't speak to Draco for the rest of the class, instead focusing on the potion in-front of you, trying to get it right.

"We will continue this next class. You're all dissmissed." Sneered Snape in his usual tone.

You gathered your stuff and put it into your bag. You stood up and began walking out of the class. You caught up to Draco and tapped him on the shoulder.

"What do you want?" He said bluntly, looking over to his friends on either side.

"To talk. About yesterday." You said, raising an eyebrow.

"Yesterday? What are you on about?" He sneered cruelly.

"Oh." You said, almost whispering. Draco and his friends were staring at you, impatiently, and you began to feel self conscious. You turned on your heel and started walking away.

"Blood traitor." You heard out of Draco's mouth.

You took a deep breath, composing yourself.

~

"He called you a Blood Traitor? What?" Pansy squeaked.

"Yes," You sighed, looking down at your feet.

"What an absolute-,"

"Pansy. It's okay. It's my fault for thinking he's any better." You stood up and straightened out your robes.

"Fine." She mumbled, looking at her nails.

"I'm going to the library, come with?" You asked.

"Can't be asked, I'm going to take a nap." She laughed. You grabbed your bag and headed to the library. You walked into the library and found your usual place to study. You sat down and pulled out some books.

"What are you studying for?" A voice peered around the corner. You looked up and met the eyes of Malfoy.

"Divination." You continued reading.

"Divination, is a load of rubbish." He smirked, pulling out the chair next to you and sitting down.

"I don't think it is." You replied bluntly.

"How come?" Malfoy asked, leaning onto his hand on the table. You tried to ignore him, focusing on the book you were reading.

"What's the matter with you?" He snatched the book from you, and flicking through the pages.

"Nothing's the matter with me." You sneered back at him, taking the book back. You shoved it in your bag and stood up.

"Why so mad, y/n?" He asked teasingly.

"Oh so now you want to talk to me, but infront of your friends I'm nothing but a blood traitor." You scoffed.

"Oh come on, what would my friends think of me if-," He started.

"Don't come near me." You sneered, before starting to walk away. Suddenly, you felt a cold hand grab you, and pull you backwards.

"You wouldn't like that, would you?" Malfoy smirked, your faces inches apart.

"Sh-Shut up." You managed. He leaned closer, so that you could feel his hot breath on your face.

"See you around." He breathed. He let you go, making you stumble backwards. You turned around and rushed out of the library, swinging your bag over your shoulder.

~

You lay in your dorm bed, staring at the ceiling.
You couldn't get to sleep. After an hour of tossing and turning you sat up in your bed. You swung your legs over the edge, and put on some slippers. Restlessly, you walked into the common room. You expected it to be empty, but instead saw Pansy and Milicent sitting opposite the fireplace. They looked up at you for a moment before returning to their conversation.

You continued past the common room and into the cold hallways of the dungeons. You shivered slightly, but payed no mind to it.
You found yourself leaving the castle, and walking towards the lake.

It was beautiful at night. The moon reflected off the water and it looked as though the water sparkled. You conjured yourself a blanket before sitting down on it. You sat like that for a while, until the cold became unbearable and you were forced to head back to the castle.

You tip-toed through the castle, careful not to startle any paintings. You made it down to the dungeons, whispering the password and entering the common room.

"Who's there-, oh. It's just you." Malfoy rose to his feet.

"Didn't expect anyone to still be here." You walked over to the fireplace, placing yourself on one of the sofas.

"Oh. I couldn't sleep. You?" He sat down next to you, too close for your liking.

"Same as you." You replied, shifting away slightly.

"Are you, scared of me?" He chuckled, moving closer to you.

"What? no, why-," You laughed.

"Oh, really?" He smirked, edging closer and closer.

"Yes-, really." You said, looking up at him.

"Well that's good," He said, leaning over you, your faces too close.

"Wha- What are you doing ?" You breathed.

"This." He smirked before leaning in and connecting your lips. You froze for a second, overwhelmed by the feel of his soft lips , his smokey breath, and intoxicated by the smell of his cologne.

You lost all your self control, kissing him back and grabbing his face. You kissed like you hadn't felt his touch in years, tugging on his hair and grabbing at the fabric of his shirt.
