Chapter 13

You walked away from him. You ran down the stairs, to the dungeons, through the common room, and entered the girls dorms as quietly
as possible.

What did he mean by that? you thought.

You silently got dressed in your pjs and went to sleep.

The next day you were woken up to the sound of shouting. You rubbed your eyes and frantically ran into the common room.

"What did I do? Im just saying." Smirked Blaise at Malfoy, who was holding Blaise's collar tightly.

Suddenly, Malfoy looked over at you and immediately let go of Blaise. He walked out of the Slytherin common room, pushing past the crowd that had formed.

"Y/N!" Pansy grabbed your arm and pulled you away.

"What was that about?" You laughed slightly.

"You." Said Pansy.

"Huh?" You furrowed your brow.

"All i know is Blaise said something about you and Draco got angry...And then you walked in."She shrugged.

"Wow." You said. You were beyond confused. You had to find Draco.

"I'm going to find him." You said to Pansy before leaving the common room.

"Okay... Good luck?" She said.

"Draco?" You found him in the astronomy tower.

He didn't say anything.

"Listen, I don't know what happened, but, thanks I guess." You continued.

"Okay." He simply replied.

"Okay? No explanation?"

"Yes." He stated.

You scoffed and left the astronomy tower. Why was he being so weird and confusing? You thought.You headed to your first lesson, your head clouded with thoughts.

As you entered your Potions class Hermione called you over to sit with her.

"Hey!" She said as you sat in the seat next to her.

"Hi." You sighed.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"Nothing much. Malfoy is being really weird." You replied, forgetting that Hermione doesn't know you kissed him, or what happened this morning.

"What do you mean?" She furrowed her brows.

"Oh, um... he's just, nicer than usual." You smiled.

"Maybe he's finally decided to stop being a dick." She shrugged.

"Yeah, probably." You agreed.

"Today you're going to be doing a group assignment." Began Snape.

"I'll be picking your groups." Snape said as the class complained.
