I can't believe I just did that, but yet I did.

To sum up what happened? I epically suck at Capture the Flag.

It's so simple. Nico Di Angelo is on our team; maybe we can actually win this one.

I stare off into the woods thinking about the day before, when I'd talked to him for the second time. He seems so dark, depressed. He's got a good act going on; such a good one he thinks he's the bad guy. But he can't fool me.

Yet when I even so much as look at him, the butterflies churn in the pit of my stomach and I blush like an idiot. I guess it's kind of obvious I have a little (no...HUGE) crush on Nico.

I sigh and start cleaning my sword with a washcloth I brought, and I start humming something that sounds like 'English Love Affair.' I'm bored. I wish I'd taken offense like Nico had. At least he's someone I know.

I've only been at camp a few weeks, claimed by (G/p) a few days after the camp found me, beat up in an old foster building where I'd crawled off to hide. I learned it the hard way that being a demigod has its flaws. Seriously, I got a gash on my calf to prove it.

"Psst. (Y/n)," a voice whisper-shouted at me from behind a bush. "Come here."

It sounds like...

I'm so sorry it's short! I did throw in a little *evil grin* cliffhanger , but I think I'll write a longer chapter next time 😉. On another thought, I need suggestions for a prophecy for later on in the book. Something that has to do with Nico (Son of Darkness) and (Y/n) (I don't know who she's the daughter of with you but with me she's the daughter of Hecate). What? You thought I was going to spoil? HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaNO.
