By the sea, smelling the water, I hear the waves.
I cry, my tears running down my face. Trying to see the world around me, it all stops by my tears. I taste the salty tears landing on my lips. Why did I have to cry?
I've been holding it in for years.
Why now!?I open my eyes and look up at the sky. My vision blurry, I turn my head towards the beautiful water, it shimmers perfectly as the sun hits it.
"How are you so perfect?" I whisper. I move my body closer to the edge. "Cold." I hug my knees closer to my body at the sudden touch of water to the tips of my toes.
I move my head away from my knees. Looking at the water again, I drop my legs and touch the water again, fully this time.
"So perfect," I whisper again, aweing the water and hating me.
The water begins to move faster and a splash touches my legs.
"Ahh!" My legs move back immediately to my body.
"I guess you're not perfect." I start to giggle. Almost hysterically, my laugh takes over my body as I realize the water responded to my whines. I stand up and laugh till my belly aches."I love you!" I put my hands in the air, and smile.
