Yoongi nodded, asking his ministers to leave. It was the end of the month, and Yoongi was going through the list of any major activities. So far there is were nothing conspicuous. Normal trading patterns. There were a little bit of petty thievery here and there. All minor acts and taken care of. A few fights over land, but that too was taken care of. Yoongi furrowed his brows in confusion and put aside the current scroll and opened the other one. This was far too long, containing every minor activities. Starting from the number of people visited a shop, how many times a person visited how many shops. People going in and out of the kingdom.
The King sighed, putting down the quill. He had noted down all the activities that shifted out of its daily pattern, but nothing was remotely questionable. However, the King could not push aside the intuition that there was something happening inside his kingdom. Something he was no aware of.
His heard a little from working on a constant stretch for so long. He placed away all the scroll, arranging them properly before heading outside. On his way, he greeted his friends, Hoseok and Namjoon. They two were aware that the King was keeping an eye on everything and helped as much as they. Namjoon kept a track of everything happening related to the King's army and the guards. Whereas, Hoseok was keeping an eye of everything happening at the trading markets outside the kingdom. Gathering informations from his trading partners or even people he knew at the trading centres. But there wasn't much helpful. Yoongi thanked his friends anyways. Appreciative of their efforts.
He sighed, deciding to take a stroll through the garden. In there he spotted Jungkook, Taehyung and Jin laughing among themselves. But Jimin wasn't present. Confused, Yoongi inquired them of the prince's presence and they answered that he was in his chambers.
The King then decided to head to his side of the garden. He loved the fact that the bush maze to his garden was attached to the main garden by a path that went through a small bamboo garden. And the best part was that the his little secret garden was forgotten by everyone in the castle. Even his parents didn't know about this. He found out about it when he was a eleven years old and was playing with his friends. The garden didn't have a direct pathway, and hidden behind the maze. And it was easy to lose someone in the maze.
Yoongi stopped walking when he heard rushed footsteps. His alterness immediately rose up as he looked around in search for the source of the sound. He furrowed his brow, and was surprised when someone ran into him.
Instinctively, he wrapped his arms around the person to prevent them falling. He was both confused and shocked when he realized it was Jimin. But the prince had a frantic and scared expression. His chest heaving up and down with each heavy breath.
"Is everything alright?" Yoongi asked, concerned; pulling the prince up to his feet.
Jimin's eyes widen he realized he had ran into the King but he couldn't help but look around once again. He didn't answer because he knew there was no point in lying. Because no matter how much he tried he couldn't hide the expression on his face.
