"Has the maps arrived yet?" Yoongi asked, looking up from his book for a second. He was currently in the meeting room, along with his General, the three Lords, the prince and Jieun. Yoongi's own spies had sent him a new set of information. They were now tallying with the ones Jieun had achieved. The Zariyan spy had extended her stay in the Kingdom of Endora, after gaining permission from both the Kings of the Kingdoms.
"No, not yet Your Majesty." Jieun replied, shaking her head, "There has been delay in their arrival."
"Why so?" Namjoon asked. His voice carrying a slight hostile undertones Ever since the news of maps containing the interiors of the palace had arrived, Namjoon had been on edge ever since. Ever other guard was kept under a strict watch. Every activity monitored, and Namjoon had taken upon the responsibility to check the list himself before it was handed over to the King.
"Your, and our spies, they have come across a news set of information," Jieun answered, "All of it has been collected from several provinces scattered throughout the Northern States and they have to be brought together."
Namjoon nodded, staring at the spy for a few more moments before looking back down at the maps in front of him. He was currently, going over all their fortified regions, and guard posts every where under the kingdom.
The three Lords had been helping in decrypting a few encoded letters. However, Namjoon had been wary of letting any other kingdom, even if the kingdom in question was MoonLight, to be let in the process. Yoongi, however, couldn't just block the other kingdom out of the process, since trust was needed for the oncoming alliance. Hoseok had been informed of the situation. Though, the Earl would be coming back after eight more days, he insisted on coming back earlier, if possible.
Yoongi glanced towards the prince. They again hadn't talked much after the arrival of the Zarian spy two days back. The King himself, was busy working with his general and other ministers about the recent news. Though there was no confirmation of the situation, precautionary actions were required. Yoongi didn't really think the matter required as much as attention as Namjoon was willing to give. But ever since after the last War the current King had fought when, Yoongi was so close to being captured by their enemies all because a certain threat hadn't been given that much of an attention, Namjoon would grow anxious and work uncontrollably to avoid the repetition of the same mistake. Yoongi had assured several times afterwards that it wasn't his fault, but Namjoon kept on blaming himself for it. And the effect of it still lasted. And if the King wasn't occupied with tasks, the prince would be. Jimin, had been spending lot of time discussing several matters with his own ministers.
But still, he would scrap out even as little as hour to try and talk to the King, but the timing would either be off. Or, Yoongi would be resting after hours of work and practice. And the fact, that most of the work included the Zariyan spy didn't seem to amuse the prince at all.
"What?" Jimin mumbled, loud enough to catch the attention of the Lords next to him, and Yoongi's. He was holding up a parchment in his hand and confused expression on his face.
