Chapter Four

Waking up the next morning by a loud knock on the door, I instantly stood up, opened my bedroom door and ran down the stairs fast. I can't let my neighbor wait. They might think I'm rude and I don't really want them to think that or any other negative traits or something.

I opened the door with a smile on my face and there stood a guy with what I guess is his little brother and little sister looking at me with wide eyes. I, on the other hand scrunched my eyebrows in confusion and my smile falls a bit, then I looked at the guy licks his lips and that's when it clicked. Plain white, over-sized shirt, a booty short and I'm not wearing any bra. Great, now he thinks that I'm seducing him or something.

Eh, they already saw me. There's no turning back now. Once again, I gave them a smile and snapped my fingers at the guy.

"Good morning! May I help you?" I greeted to try and release the one minute awkward silence.

"Yeah, uhm..." The guy cleared his throat and look at the two cute little babies. I smiled at them and waved cutely. I kneel-ed down and quickly put my feet and legs together, so I'm kinda on the same level with them.

"Gabrielle and Gabriella what would you two say, if you want to make a new friend?" The guy asked them.

"Hi!" They both said at the same time.

They're so cute!

"Hi, I'm Siane and you two are so cute!" I said while pinching their chubby cheeks. They looked into my eyes and smiled cutely at me. So adorable! I stood up and smiled at they guy who's now looking at me.

"Hey, I'm Grant and these two are my midgets." Grant said while ruffling the hair of his siblings. They pouted and slapped his hand away. I giggled and observed him, he's definitely taller than me, black eyes and the usual blond. Along with his two siblings, same eyes and same hair. Although, black eyes and blond hair are a rare mixture I think. I don't ever see them kinds, it's usually blond hair and blue eyes.

But, what do I know? I've been living in the Philippines ever since I was born. I've never went to a different country, I don't know why...I just don't want to I guess. He extended his hand for me to shake and I gladly took it. Grant, what a nice name.

"How can I help you three?" I asked them as soon as I let go.

"Yes, our parents wanted to invite you to a welcoming party tonight...a dinner to be exact. Are you in?" It is true, people here in the USA or other countries like this. They invite new neighbours for a dinner or lunch.

"Yes, that would be lovely. What time to be exact?"

"Around 7 o'clock." I nodded and asked them one more question.

"Uhm...what house?" Grant chuckled and pointed to a house behind him.

"Nic-" Grant was cut-off by Gabrielle

"Save the talking for later Grant! Are you trying to be cute around her?" I laughed and Grant blushed and shook his head. Gabriella giggled and the twins hugged my legs.

After hugging me, they jumped up and down telling me to come.

"Promise?"

"Yes, I promise."

After that I waved good-bye and nodded at them. Hearing Grant scold Gabrielle and he just sticks his tongue at him. Cute, but I think Grant is younger than me. He's kinda like my brother's age and I don't like guys who's younger than me. Maybe a year younger is okay, but two to three years and down. Oh no, count me out. It feels like I'm dating my own brother.

I cringed at the thought.

It's not like I'll have a relationship at my stay here, if guys don't like me back home. Then what's the reason for guys here to like me? Snapping myself from thinking, I closed the door and decided to start unpacking.
